Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, mentioned that he is willing to overlook Joe Biden's mistake of calling him "President Putin".

The President of the United States made a mistake on Thursday during a NATO summit in Washington DC, and shortly afterwards, in another well-known blunder, he mistakenly called his Vice President, Kamala Harris, "Vice President Trump" during a press conference.

During a trip to Ireland on Saturday, Mr. Zelenskyy was questioned about Mr. Biden's slip-up with Putin. He responded to reporters by stating, "It was an error. I believe the United States has provided much support to Ukrainians. We can overlook some mistakes, I believe."

During the meeting in Washington, NATO countries promised to provide $43 billion in military assistance to Ukraine next year. This aid is necessary for Ukraine to protect itself from Russia's all-out invasion and to prevent any potential future attacks.

New commitments were made for air defense assistance, such as Patriot missile systems and F-16 fighter aircraft.

The most recent blunders made by Mr. Biden have added more stress on the elderly man, who is being urged by members of his own party to withdraw as the Democratic candidate in the presidential race due to worries about his age and ability to fulfill the role.

A recent survey conducted by NPR/PBS showed that Mr. Biden is ahead of his opponent, Mr. Trump, by a margin of 2%.

This is a small increase from his standing prior to a debate on June 27th, where the president appeared to struggle with his thoughts and his voice faded out multiple times.

He continues to have the backing of important people in the party, such as California Governor Gavin Newsom, a well-known Democrat who is considered a potential candidate for president in the future.

Amidst enthusiastic applause, he yelled out: "Donald Trump is a failure!"

Mr. Biden also cautioned that Project 2025, a conservative policy plan aiming to reduce the size of the federal government if Donald Trump wins the election, should be taken very seriously.

Following the debate on June 27th, a total of 19 Democrats in Congress have requested for Mr. Biden to withdraw his candidacy in order for the party to select a new candidate. This sentiment has also been echoed by various donors, celebrities, advocacy organizations, and media outlets.

The New York Times has said that donation promises totaling about $90 million will not be fulfilled until he drops out of the race.
