The Death of Nathan Hale

Nathan Hale was a brave American patriot who was famously executed by the British during the American Revolution. Born in Connecticut in 1755, Hale served as a schoolteacher before joining the Continental Army. He volunteered to go behind enemy lines to gather information for General George Washington, but unfortunately, he was captured by the British and executed as a spy in New York City at the young age of 21.
