Mariah Carey Puts a Christmas Spin on Après-Ski While Shopping in Aspen

Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey went holiday shopping yesterday in Aspen, Colorado, and she certainly dressed for the festive season.

The Queen of Christmas added a holiday flair to the Après-ski scene, donning a cheerful red and white knit ensemble. Carey made a store visit in a striking red sweater dress featuring puffy sleeves and a flipped-up collar. She accessorized her outfit with a Chanel beanie, white gloves from Chanel, and slouchy knee-high boots by Giuseppe Zanotti, which had a cozy shearling trim and a chunky sole. To complete her look, Carey sported rectangular white sunglasses and wore a diamond necklace adorned with her initials.

Carey has just finished her Christmas Tour, which lasted for about six weeks, with her final show taking place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. During this last performance, she delighted the audience with popular holiday classics such as “Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home),” “Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Claus Lane),” “Silent Night,” “Joy to the World,” and, of course, her iconic song “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

During her Christmas Tour, Carey showcased an array of festive outfits, featuring everything from elegant red and white dresses to a playful, Santa-themed red jumpsuit with marabou trim, reminiscent of the iconic look she sports on the cover of "All I Want for Christmas Is You."

Beyond her holiday outfits, Mariah Carey's fashion is all about sparkle and elegance. Last October, she channeled classic Hollywood style while performing at the 50th Anniversary Special of the American Music Awards. The singer dazzled in a strapless Schiaparelli dress featuring a draped bodice and an elegant floor-length train, complemented by sparkling diamond jewelry.

Following the New Year, Carey will be back in Las Vegas for her residency, "Mariah Carey: The Celebration of Mimi," taking place at Park MGM. During her performances, she has been showcasing unique outfits designed by Robert Wun, Sophie Couture, and Valdrin Sahiti.
