Who smuggled Liz Hurley's bikinis to the Caribbean? Star's son Damian reveals one of his godfathers...

Liz Hurley

Elizabeth Hurley and her son Damian shared that one of his godfathers had secretly brought 100 costumes to the Caribbean for their upcoming movie, Strictly Confidential.

The female performer, at the age of 58, featured on The One Show with a young man named Damian. He is responsible for writing and directing the enigmatic movie where his own mother was the leading lady.

He explained that he had to request one of his godfathers to bring over a suitcase containing costumes, mainly bikinis, after they faced issues at the customs.

There are six godfathers that Damian has been blessed with. These include Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish, as well as Hugh Grant, Denis Leary, Teddy Forstmann, and Henry Dent Brocklehurst.

The movie was recorded in St Kitts and Nevis and contains a scene with Liz Hurley engaging in sexual activity. When questioned about the experience of having her son direct the scene, she simply laughed it off.

On the latest episode of The One Show, Elizabeth Hurley who is aged 58, made an appearance with her son Damian who is 22 years old.

Damian has six godfathers among whom one is Sir Elton John while his partner David Furnish (who is not captured in the image) is also included.

During the recent screening of the film, one of Damian's godfathers, Hugh Grant, who is a former partner of Liz Hurley, was present to show support. Another one of Damian's godfathers, David Furnish, also attended the screening.

Actress Liz Hurley handpicked six godfathers for her son, one of whom is actor Denis Leary.

During an interview on The One Show, the duo revealed that because of the movie's limited financial resources, they were required to shoot scenes rapidly and had minimal breathing space for mistakes or disruptions.

However, a tragic event occurred when a delivery of outfits was refused entrance at the boundary and returned to the United States.

According to Damian, it happened approximately one week prior to our planned shoot. As he recalled, about 80% of our costumes were not allowed to enter the border, and they had to be sent back to the United States.

Therefore, we found ourselves in a situation where there were no places dedicated to selling costumes and there was a lack of facilities for filming.

I convinced my male godfather to bring along approximately 100 costumes by sneaking them in a suitcase. The majority of the costumes included bikinis suitable for the beach.

My godfather, who is known for being very proper, had an interesting experience at customs. He had to claim ownership of 80 bikinis that we had brought with us. However, we were able to successfully bring them through. If you watch the movie, you will see lots of bikinis - the ones we brought were used in the film.

On Wednesday night, Damian and his mother went to see a movie in London, along with Liz's previous partner, Hugh Grant.

According to Damian, Grant - who was seen with Liz at the recent showing of Strictly Confidential - was not the individual responsible for smuggling the bikinis.

In 2008, a formal fundraising dinner was held in London and Henry Dent Brocklehurst was in attendance. He had the opportunity to take a photo with Liz Hurley during the event.

Another possible individual who could be involved in smuggling bikinis is David Furnish, the partner of Sir Elton John (pictured on the left).

Liz Hurley had a romantic relationship with Hugh Grant for 13 years until they separated amicably in 2000 (there is a photo of the couple from 1994).

Damian didn't reveal any further details about his godfather's identity, but he did verify that it was definitely not Hugh Grant.

"He isn't the person who smuggled the bikinis," he informed Alex Scott.

Theodore Forstmann, popularly known as Teddy and who was a billionaire from America, cannot be considered since he passed away in 2011.

So, that means that there is a chance that Sir Elton John, David Furnish, Denis Leary from the US and Henry Dent Brocklehurst may have considered involvement in smuggling.

During the show, Liz revealed that Damian filmed her for the very first time when she gifted him his inaugural camera when he was only ten years old.

She stated that he began by writing small skits and short films but eventually progressed to creating larger productions.

I had previously mentioned that I would feature in his debut movie. Given that he recorded a lot of footage of me and I regularly compel him to take my photographs, it appeared to be effortless to fulfil my statement.

The film didn't have much funding. It was simply a matter of doing it quickly and efficiently to move forward.

When discussing filming private scenes, including one with another female partner, Liz mentioned: 'It's common knowledge that shooting intimate scenes isn't actually erotic. It's more of a technical process. Plus, we had practiced beforehand. Damian made it a relaxing experience. It didn't mean anything.'
