Katie Price reacts to arrest warrant - insisting she is away filming a documentary
Katie Price has shared the reasons for her absence in court for a bankruptcy hearing, which led to a warrant being issued for her arrest.
The previous model who was known for her beauty and style made it clear that she was not avoiding her responsibilities. She explained on Instagram that she could not make it to the event because she was busy filming in another country.
On Tuesday, Judge Catherine Burton from the Insolvency and Companies Court issued a warrant for the arrest of the 46-year-old individual, stating that she had received direct and obvious notifications to attend court.
In April, she was warned that she may face arrest if she continued to miss scheduled court appearances.
Price was going to be asked about her money situation by lawyers - she was officially broke in November 2019 and once more in March of this year.
Price wrote a long message on the internet saying that the media was trying to keep humiliating them and their family. They mentioned that they weren't embarrassed or ashamed, and they needed to keep working to fulfill the bankruptcy orders.
Price shared a video advertising a place in Istanbul where she was shooting a documentary about fixing surgeries. She mentioned that she might also be getting some treatment there.
On Tuesday, Judge Burton issued an arrest warrant for Price, stating that she did not provide a valid reason for her absence. The judge emphasized that the reason for her absence was not important.

Judge Burton also mentioned that Price had only provided incomplete cooperation and did not supply essential information regarding her bankruptcies.
The ex-fashion model strongly stated that she is "working hard to fix things during very difficult times".
During a court session in February, she was told to give up 40% of her earnings from OnlyFans, a website for adult content, to the trustee for the next three years as part of her first bankruptcy case.
She was again declared bankrupt in March because she failed to pay a tax bill of over £750,000.
In October of last year, she expressed frustration with constantly being threatened with legal action and stated that she would rather go to prison than deal with it anymore.
Price recently shared her thoughts on cosmetic surgery, stating that she believes it is unfortunate when young women opt for procedures like breast augmentation and lip fillers.
