Katie Price was apprehended at Heathrow Airport for not showing up for court and was brought to the police station.
A former celebrity model was summoned for arrest on July 30th when she did not show up to a legal appointment concerning her financial troubles.
The police in charge of the city confirmed that a woman who is 46 years old was taken into custody at Heathrow airport at 7:45 PM British Summer Time.
Ms Price is scheduled to appear in front of a judge at the Royal Courts of Justice later today.
Ms. Price was held in custody upon her arrival back in the United Kingdom.
Pictures have appeared showing her wearing bandages around her face, standing next to police vans at the airport.
She was announced to be bankrupt in November 2019 and once more in March of this year.
During a court session in February, she was instructed to allocate 40% of the earnings she makes each month through OnlyFans for the following three years, as part of her previous bankruptcy case.
She went bankrupt again in March because she hadn't paid a tax bill of over £750,000.
Earlier, Judge Catherine Burton from the Insolvency and Companies Court stated that Ms. Price had been given explicit warnings that she must appear at the hearing on July 30th.
She was supposed to answer financial questions in a court in London where barristers representing the trustee of her two bankruptcies were present.
The judge warned her that she could be arrested if she failed to show up for future court dates. He also said that evidence must be presented if she was unable to attend.
However, it was revealed in court that Ms. Price had allegedly journeyed to Turkey.
When Judge Burton issued the arrest warrant, he stated that Ms Price had failed to give a reason for not attending the court hearing.
Judge Burton emphasized that issuing an arrest warrant was not done casually. Ms. Price did not fully cooperate and failed to provide essential information regarding her bankruptcies.
