The ex-model Katie Price was taken into custody at Heathrow airport for not showing up at court.

Price, aged 46 and from Surrey, has been held in custody at a police station in west London after coming back from Turkey. He is scheduled to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice on Friday.

According to a representative from the Metropolitan police, a woman aged 46 from Surrey was taken into custody at Heathrow Airport on Thursday, August 8th, at 7:45 pm for not showing up in court. She is currently being held at a police station in west London and is scheduled to appear at the Royal Courts of Justice tomorrow, Friday, August 9th.

After failing to show up for a court hearing regarding her bankruptcies, ex-I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant was issued an arrest warrant by insolvency and companies court judge Catherine Burton.

When the judge ordered Price's arrest, he explained that she didn't show up for the hearing and didn't give any reason for not appearing.

She stated that it was essential for the court to issue a warrant for Ms. Price's arrest. She had no valid reason for not showing up at today's hearing. The cause for her not being present today doesn't matter.

The judge mentioned that arrest warrants are not given easily. The judge also stated that Price had only given limited cooperation and did not provide important information about her bankruptcies.

Price was officially named bankrupt in November of last year and once again in March of this current year.

During a court session in February, she was instructed to give up 40% of her earnings every month from the adult entertainment site OnlyFans to the trustee for the following three years, due to her initial bankruptcy.

She was officially declared bankrupt for the second time in March because she hadn't paid a tax bill that totaled over £750,000.
