Who is Jeremie Frimpong?

Jeremie Frimpong is a young Ghanaian professional football player who currently plays as a right-back for the Scottish Premiership team Celtic. He was born on December 10th, 2000 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, to Ghanaian parents.

He began his football career at the youth academy of AFC Ajax in Amsterdam before joining Manchester City's academy in 2019. He made his professional debut for Manchester City in October 2019 in the Carabao Cup game against Preston North End. In September 2020, he was acquired by Celtic for a fee of around £11 million on a four-year contract.

Despite his young age, Jeremie Frimpong has already garnered a few achievements in his budding career. He won the Premier League 2 title with Manchester City's under-23 team in the 2018-2019 season.
