During England's first Euro 2024 game, Ivan Toney's dad had his Rolex stolen from his hotel room in Dusseldorf. Ivan Toney is a famous football player from England.

Ivan Snr accidentally left his expensive watch at Melia Hotel, which was a 45-minute drive from Gelsenkirchen Stadium where the Three Lions played against Serbia on June 16.

However, when he came back to his expensive £400 per night hotel room, he discovered that his luxurious watch had been stolen. He promptly informed the hotel staff about the theft.

The Brentford forward was on the bench but did not get to play in the Euros match. England won 1-0 with a goal from Jude Bellingham early in the game.

The police are currently investigating a watch of an unidentified make and worth. However, they believe that the watch will have a serial number that can help them locate it.

Ivan Toney, a player for Brentford, was shown in a photo on June 7 participating in a match against Iceland at Wembley. During this time, his father, who was in Dusseldorf to cheer on his son at the Euros, had his Rolex watch stolen from his hotel room.

Ivan Jnr performed the national anthem alongside Joe Gomez and Eberechi Eze before the match against Serbia on June 16th.

The Brentford forward (shown in the photo on the left during England practice on Thursday alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold) did not play in the Euros match, where England won 1-0.

Many players' relatives were believed to be staying at the Melia hotel during the beginning of the tournament. England has advanced to the elimination rounds after tying Denmark 1-1 and drawing 0-0 with Slovenia.

Ivan Jnr, who reportedly has a good relationship with both of his parents who are no longer together, was seen wearing a Rolex Day Date watch valued at a staggering £53,350.

A person familiar with the situation informed The Sun that the hotel management is taking the theft very seriously due to the significant value of the stolen property.

A representative from the hotel stated that the issue was quickly reported to the authorities, who are now conducting a thorough investigation.

We are working closely with the police in every aspect of their investigation and at this time, we have no additional information to share until the investigation is complete.

MailOnline has requested a statement from the Düsseldorf police.

Ivan Snr, who stood by his son throughout his early career playing for various teams such as Newcastle United, Barnsley, Peterborough United, and Northampton Town, was in Germany eagerly awaiting to witness his son's debut for England on foreign soil.

As he prepared for his debut at an international tournament, the Premier League striker proudly displayed a designer bag worth £3,450 and a backpack worth £3,950, both from the luxurious French brand Goyard, which was previously the official supplier to the British Royal Family.

Recently, Toney shared that he and Aston Villa's forward Ollie Watkins are still studying and imitating the movements of rival strikers during practice sessions. This comes as some are suggesting that Harry Kane should be replaced in the starting lineup.

He said: "It's difficult to be a backup to Kane, but you have to be prepared and ready. Most players in the team are regular starters for their clubs, so you have to adjust to being a substitute or not playing at all."

I have had experience in similar situations in the past during my career, like when I was a substitute in Peterborough. When I finally got the opportunity to play, I made the most of it. I hope to have the same chance and success here.

Toney acknowledges that Kane didn't perform his best against Denmark, but he has stood up for his fellow player against a few of the negative comments.

Ivan Toney posted pictures of himself and his relatives in Dubai before he reunites with the England team.

Jude Bellingham is very happy because he scored the only goal in the game against Serbia on June 16th.

The man from Brentford entered the competition feeling rejuvenated after a relaxing vacation with his family in Dubai. During their time away, he shared some heartwarming photos of his children playing in the sand.

Still, it wasn't just relaxation time for the Brentford player. He also posted a video of himself with his hands on his knees after a workout.

Toney was suspended from participating in football for eight months after confessing to 232 betting violations. He was able to make his comeback for the London team in January.
