Harry Kane is the number 9 player in England and he has scored the most goals in the Bundesliga. Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham is the top scorer in La Liga and is England's number 10. They hold the first and fifth positions in Europe's top five league for scoring goals. Consequently, it is quite reasonable to assume that England's attacking force is the strongest in international football, considering that there are still seven months left until Euro 2024.

Their partnership during the 3-1 victory over Italy last month proved just how capable they are. Kane would move back to connect with other players while Bellingham advanced into open areas. Together, they put England in a position to win a penalty after Bellingham skillfully maneuvered the ball off of Kane while he held off a defender. The performance showcased how they could be a formidable duo at next summer's Euros in Germany.

Gareth Southgate sat with journalists in the dressing room of England's home stadium- Wembley. They talked about their upcoming qualifying camp. Gareth pondered about the idea that he might have the best duo in the world. He took a minute to think and responded, "I think it would be difficult to beat them based on their current form." He further added that he was trying to think of other teams' attacking combinations and see what they have to offer.

Argentina clinched the World Cup alongside football stars Lionel Messi and Julian Alvarez. France boasts Kylian Mbappe and Randal Kolo Muani, while Norway has Martin Odegaard supporting Erling Haaland. However, is England willing to trade Bellingham and Kane? The answer is a resounding no. Simply put, we adore and cherish both players.

Kane has been performing exceptionally well at Bayern Munich, surpassing his own high standards. He has scored 15 goals and assisted in five in just 10 Bundesliga games, which is outstanding. In Europe's major leagues, he has the highest number of involvements with 20, surpassing Stuttgart's Serhou Guirassy with 15, followed by Erling Haaland and Lautaro Martinez with 13, then Bellingham with 12. This season, Kane has already achieved 30 goal involvements for both club and country by November. It's worth mentioning that the Premier League has only recently introduced its winter ball.

It's not shocking to see a top-notch athlete joining a team that is known for being unbeatable. England's expectation is that Kane, while playing on Bayern, will be able to relieve himself of the stress and finally attain a victory.

In simpler terms, Southgate believes that winning a trophy would give the player a sense of completeness and boost his confidence. While it may not affect his abilities or talent, it will certainly have a positive impact on his mindset and emotions. Southgate thinks that all successful players go through this transformation and winning a trophy is an essential piece of the puzzle.

On my way back from our last match against Italy, something occurred to me. While we were discussing Jude, it's worth acknowledging that Kane managed to score two goals. His performance all throughout the game was remarkable, and when we tally up his appearances and goals, it's truly impressive. We might be mincing the value of Kane and underestimating his importance to our team. To put things in perspective, any team or country would cherish a player like him as their top striker.

Kane manages to score a goal from the middle of the field in a match where he achieves three hat-tricks in the German soccer league.

The people of Bellingham are joyous following their victory in the Clasico representing Real Madrid.

Although Kane's performance in the Bundesliga was expected, Bellingham's impressive beginning at Real Madrid has been quite an astonishing development. Bellingham was initially known for his all-action approach to the game, with an ability to power through the center of the field, but he has now transformed into one of the most lethal attackers on the planet. England is eager to make the most of this newly unearthed talent.

Southgate finds Jude’s transition in position fascinating as it was not initially apparent during his time at Dortmund. Previously, he only scored 12 goals out of 92 games played, whereas now he has landed 13 goals in just 14 games at Madrid. This new position has led to him being more confident with scoring, and he has even managed to scoop up a few tap-ins due to his improved positioning. Overall, it has been a balanced mix of skill and strategic play for Jude.

Southgate gave a speech about his squad selection for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia this month. John Stones and Eddie Nketiah are injured, so Callum Wilson and Bukayo Saka have taken their places. Raheem Sterling is not included in the squad. Even though England have already qualified, they still need to do a bit more to secure the top spot and be the main seed for the group stage draw in December.

Bellingham made it into the team even though there was uncertainty about a shoulder injury that hindered him in Real Madrid's recent Champions League game. There is a possibility that he won't play in both matches, and Kane might also be given a break, given his busy start to the season. Nevertheless, Southgate anticipates that both players will want to compete, building on their evolving partnership between a deadly Number 9 and an exceptional Number 10. These two players, who have a ten-year gap between them in age, are England's current captain and their probable future captain.

Southgate expressed his enthusiasm for recruiting talented players who are currently performing at a high level. However, he acknowledges that England is not the only team with skilled players. Portugal and France, in particular, are formidable contenders. History has shown that underdogs can rise to the occasion in major competitions, as demonstrated by Greece's surprising victory and Czech Republic's impressive finals appearance. Nonetheless, it's preferable to enter the tournament as one of the top favorites, which has been England's position in recent tournaments.

It's fantastic to see the team performing exceptionally well, but it's a little too soon for us to make any conclusions. Nonetheless, it's incredible to witness the level of the players and how playing in significant European teams has boosted their confidence. In contrast, players who have only competed in England may not have the same insight into the overall football landscape.
