Meta AI Gains A New Voice
You can now have a conversation with Meta AI using your voice on Messenger, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram DM, and it will reply to you with audio responses. Ask it questions, have it clarify any topics you’re interested in, or enjoy a joke to brighten your day.
As this feature begins to become available, you'll have the option to select from various voice choices for your assistant. Some of these will include well-known voices like those of Awkwafina, Dame Judi Dench, John Cena, Keegan-Michael Key, and Kristen Bell.
Meta AI Now Answers Photo Questions And Edits
You can now share images in your conversations with Meta AI, which has the ability to analyze and interpret the pictures. This feature can enhance your knowledge about your surroundings. For instance, if you spot a flower on a hike, you can send its photo and inquire about its species. Alternatively, if you click a picture of a dish you'd like to prepare, you can ask Meta AI for recipes or cooking tips.

Looking to enhance your photos? You can now upload an image in a chat with Meta AI and specify what changes you'd like to make, whether it’s altering your outfit or swapping out the background for a vibrant rainbow.

Testing Meta AI Translations For Creators
We are currently experimenting with a new Meta AI translation tool designed to translate the audio from Reels automatically. This way, a wider audience can appreciate your content, regardless of language differences. The tool will not only perform dubbing but also synchronize lip movements, so it sounds like the speaker is actually speaking in another language. We're beginning with small trials on Instagram and Facebook, where we're translating select videos from creators in Latin America and the US into English and Spanish. Our goal is to broaden this initiative to include more creators and additional languages in the future.
New Meta AI Updates For Facebook And Instagram
We're enhancing the Imagine features of Meta AI, allowing you to visualize yourself as a superhero or any other character directly in your feed, Stories, and Facebook profile pictures. You can effortlessly share your AI-created images with your friends, who can then view, react, or recreate them. Additionally, Meta AI can propose captions for your Stories on both Facebook and Instagram.

You can now select from various chat themes in Messenger and Instagram DMs that alter the background and text bubble colors for everyone involved in the conversation. Additionally, you can create a custom theme for your chats using AI. Simply click on "Themes" in your chat settings to begin.
We’re experimenting with fresh content generated by Meta AI in your Facebook and Instagram feeds. This means you'll come across images crafted by Meta AI that are tailored to your interests or trending topics. You can click on a suggested prompt to explore that content further, or swipe to generate new ideas on the spot.
