The advertisement features M&S's Christmas attire and home collection, paired with a version of Meatloaf's hit song "I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That)" remade by musician and singer-songwriter Ray BLK.

Honoring the authentic essence of Christmas, the movement draws inspiration from the realization that for several individuals, it can be tough to find the right balance between relishing the aspects they adore about the festive season and fulfilling certain obligations that may not be as enjoyable.

This campaign encourages people to focus on the aspects of Christmas that they truly love and enjoy, and to forgo any parts that they do not. The slogan for the campaign, 'Love Thismas (Not Thatmas),' serves as a call to action for viewers to participate and customize their Christmas experience based on their personal preferences.

The TV advertisement of the campaign takes place in four distinct domiciles. Each abode has a well-known British personality. These include Hannah Waddingham, an actress; Sophie Ellis-Bextor, a singer and podcast presenter; Tan France, a style specialist and presenter; and Zawe Ashton, an actress. They all deliberate on which Christmas customs to follow this year, while also deciding which ones they will exclude.

The blog showcases an array of funny and disrespectful scenarios, where every character encounters a comical predicament that speaks to the stressful situations we encounter leading up to Christmas. It also highlights the small but meaningful gestures that we undertake to make the holiday season memorable for those we care about.

Anna Braithwaite, director of marketing for M&S clothing and home, expressed confidence that the audience would be able to connect with the outstanding cast in our advertisement. They humorously bring to light the small issues and conflicts that we all encounter during the holiday season.

Prior to the birth of Love Thismas (Not Thatmas), we conversed with several of our clients who revealed feeling anxious and overwhelmed during the Christmas holiday season as they experienced the stress of organizing and managing numerous tasks.

We understand that sometimes it may seem like there are endless tasks to be done. That's why this year, we've made the decision to encourage and celebrate our customers to focus on doing the things they truly enjoy.

According to Hannah Waddingham, she enjoys the anticipation and enchantment of the Christmas season. To be truthful, she wouldn't mind experiencing it all as early as November.

I love to dress up and hang out with my family and those I care about, and that's why shooting this advertisement made me feel all Christmassy inside.

"M&S has always been my preferred choice for selecting Christmas presents and delicious food. Thus, being a part of this campaign is a tremendous honor and an enjoyable experience."

Sophie Ellis Bextor, who has been a fan of the brand for a while, expressed her excitement about Christmas time. She mentioned that her children still believe in the magic of Christmas, making it a joyous occasion at their home. Hosting Christmas is a favorite tradition for their family, and having a house full of guests makes her the happiest.

Our family has a plethora of Christmas customs that we enhance every year. It keeps us very occupied, and I thoroughly enjoy the hustle and bustle! Participating in one of the most prominent TV commercial promotions of the year is a thrilling experience. I am eagerly anticipating its release!

Zawe Ashton, an actress, expressed her joy in participating in this year's M&S Christmas campaign. She loves M&S so much that it holds a special place in her heart. She cannot wait to fully immerse herself in the holiday season and cherish every moment spent with her family.

Very soon, M&S plans to release another advertisement that will promote its selection of holiday foods.
