‘Ted Lasso’s’ Hannah Waddingham Shows Off Vocal Chops in Apple TV+ Holiday Special Trailer

Hannah Waddingham

Hannah Waddingham is completely embracing the Christmas vibes in the preview of her inaugural yuletide show.

The lead actor of Ted Lasso and someone who's been nominated for multiple Emmy and Olivier awards, lends his voice to the song "What Christmas Means to Me" in the preview for Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas. This program will debut on Nov. 22 on Apple TV+ and from what we see in the video, it looks like a delightful and traditional type of show filled with musical performances, dancing, and a whole host of notable guests.

In the upcoming special, we can expect to see Phil Dunster, who acted alongside Waddingham in Ted Lasso, as well as Luke Evans, Leslie Odom Jr., and the talented singer Sam Ryder. Additionally, Juno Temple makes a brief and amusing appearance in the trailer, shouting "I'm your Christmas miracle!" while Waddingham reacts hysterically.

The program will additionally showcase the English National Opera, the London Gay Men's Chorus, The Fabulous Lounge Swingers, and a group of 18 musicians. Moreover, Apple is set to release the special's music collection on November 22nd.

Home for Christmas is currently in production and is being created by the same team that brought us the Apple special Mariah Carey's Magical Christmas Special and ABC's Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Celebration. The special is being filmed at London's Coliseum Theatre with Hamish Hamilton directing. Waddingham is serving as the executive producer alongside Katy Mullan, Moira Ross, Raj Kapoor, and Nick Todisco.
