Erling Haaland, the forward for Manchester City, possibly worsened a previously sustained injury to his left ankle during a recent friendly game for the Norwegian national team.

During Thursday's match against the Faroe Islands, Haaland appeared as a substitution in the second half and sustained a small twist in his ankle toward the end of the game, as explained by Norway's team physician, Ola Sand. The match ended with a 2-0 victory.

Haaland continued playing until the end of the match.

According to Sand, Haaland's ankle is slightly susceptible.

Sand stated to Norwegian TV that there was an immediate sensation of pain, however, it subsided rapidly. The following day would determine how the individual was feeling.

The coach of Norway, Ståle Solbakken, expressed that Haaland had suffered a similar injury in the past.

Haaland sustained an injury in his ankle during the Premier League match against Bournemouth, which led to his substitution during the game on November 4th. However, he made a swift return to the pitch just three days later, starting in City's subsequent game.

When the Premier League resumes on November 25, Liverpool will compete against the City, who are currently in the top position.
