Matchups between City and Arsenal have developed into a fresh rivalry in recent years, as both teams have been vying for the Premier League championship. The intense clash on Sunday reflected this competition perfectly.

Arsenal, down to 10 players just before the half-time break after Leandro Trossard got his second yellow card, held on tightly to their lead. However, in the eighth minute of stoppage time, John Stones scored to earn a late equalizer for Pep Guardiola's team.

However, Arsenal's cautious play in the second half frustrated the reigning Premier League champions, prompting Haaland to share a message with the opposing team's manager after the match concluded.

Haaland's remark led to a clash with former City forward Gabriel Jesus, who stepped in to defend his manager.

"Come here," Jesus said, turning to the Norwegian player.

"What, what, what, what?" Haaland said in response.

"Why are you speaking? What are you saying?" Jesus asked.

"What are you talking about?" Haaland responded, appearing to shove Jesus aside before his Manchester City teammate Jack Grealish stepped in to mediate.

Jesus remarked, "Leave me alone," to which Haaland shot back, "What are you on about? Back off, you ridiculous fool."

Haaland opened the scoring in a thrilling match, but Arsenal's new recruit, Riccardo Calafiori, brought his team level with an impressive goal halfway through the first half.

Gabriel put the visitors ahead during stoppage time in the first half, but just before halftime, Arsenal's Trossard received a second yellow card and was sent off.

Arsenal's shortage of players forced the away team to adopt a defensive strategy in the second half, forming a low block that appeared to frustrate City. However, Stones managed to score the equalizer just moments before the final whistle.

Instead of joining his teammates in celebrating the late equalizer, Haaland chose to go in the opposite direction. He went to collect the ball from the net and then hurled it at Arsenal defender Gabriel's head.

As a result of the match, Guardiola's team lost their flawless Premier League streak but remained at the top of the league standings, still holding a two-point lead over Arsenal, who are currently in fourth place.
