Graziano Di Prima, a well-known dancer from Strictly Come Dancing, announced that he will no longer be appearing on the show.

On Instagram, he expressed remorse for the events that led to him leaving and recognized that his strong drive to win may have impacted how he trained.

A representative from the BBC verified that Di Prima will not be dancing in the upcoming series as part of the professional line-up.

"We cannot discuss specific cases, but it's common knowledge that the BBC has strong procedures in place to ensure the well-being of individuals. If any concerns are brought to our attention, we will address them promptly and accordingly," they explained.

Di Prima, 30, was introduced to the Strictly cast in 2018 when she was paired with radio DJ Vick Hope.

He was on the show for the next two years, but he didn't have a famous partner. In 2021, he danced with comedian and Loose Women host Judi Love.

In 2022, he came back and teamed up with actress Kym Marsh. They made it to the quarter finals. Last year, he danced with TV presenter Zara McDermott.

Outside of Strictly, Di Prima has taken part in many dance competitions around the world and traveled extensively with the dance group Burn The Floor.

In his words, he expressed his understanding that it was "in the best interest of the show for me to leave".

He mentioned that there are certain parts of the story that involve outside factors that he is unable to talk about currently, but he is determined to stay strong for his loved ones.

I hope the Strictly family and BBC continue to prosper in the days ahead. I am grateful for the support I have received from my career and personal life. When the moment is appropriate, I will reveal my story.

This is not the first instance where Strictly, one of the most popular shows on the BBC, has received a complaint regarding the conduct of one of its professional dancers.

In the previous month, after receiving numerous complaints about his teaching style, the program announced that veteran professional dancer Giovanni Pernice will not be participating in the upcoming 2024 series.

Pernice previously mentioned that he was shocked by the accusations and denied any claims of being abusive or threatening.
