Declan Donnelly, commonly known as Dec, is a British television personality and presenter. He was born on September 25, 1975, in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Dec is best known for hosting popular television shows such as Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, and Britain's Got Talent alongside his long-time friend and co-presenter, Ant McPartlin.

Before entering the entertainment industry, Dec started his acting career at a very young age of 12. He appeared in many television series and even starred in a film called 'The Cinder Path' in 1994. However, it was his partnership with Ant McPartlin that propelled him to fame. The duo has won numerous awards for their work in television, including 16 National Television Awards.
