The player said: 'I want to publicly thank everyone at Arsenal for the last four years. The opportunities and development I have had here have been extremely important.'

I want to give a big shoutout to the coaches, staff, and fellow team members at Hale End. I will always cherish the memories we created together.

Chido Obi-Martin, who is 16 years old, can be seen in the picture on the right celebrating a goal he scored for Arsenal's U18 team last season.

Obi-Martin is said to have agreed to join Manchester United after departing from Arsenal.

Romano stated on X (formerly Twitter) that the player agreed to join United even though he was offered a higher salary to go to Germany.

It was reported that Obi-Martin decided to join United because he was impressed by the current plans and progress of the team at the Manchester club.

Obi-Martin made the move to Arsenal from Kjobenhavns Boldklub in Denmark.

At just 15 years old, he played for Arsenal's U18 team and scored three goals in his first game.

But the most unforgettable moment for him at Arsenal was during an U16 match in November of last year when he scored 10 goals in a 14-3 victory against Liverpool.

Five months later, Obi-Martin scored seven goals in a 9-0 win against Norwich in the U18 competition.

Last season, Arsenal defeated Liverpool 14-3 with Striker Obi-Martin scoring an impressive 10 goals in a single U16 game.

Obi-Martin will probably want to make a good impression on his new coach, Erik ten Hag, at Manchester United.

Obi-Martin has represented Denmark at the U17 level and has scored 10 goals for the team.

He can also choose to play for either England or Nigeria.
