The entertainment industry is expressing their condolences to Doherty following the news of her passing, which was confirmed by her publicist, Leslie Sloane. Sloane mentioned that Doherty was loved as a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, and was surrounded by her loved ones and her dog, Bowie, in her final moments. The family has requested privacy to mourn their loss.
Milano was one of the people who honored the star. Doherty and Milano had a public argument. Milano, who acted as Phoebe Halliwell, stated in a message shared with Variety: "It was clear that Shannen and I had a difficult relationship, but deep down, I admired and respected her."
