The fans of Celine Dion have been deeply emotional upon watching the initial footage of her latest documentary. The film delves into the impact of her severe health condition on her life.

The Canadian creative will provide an unusual glimpse into her personal life, where she faces challenges associated with Stiff Person Syndrome - a scarceness autoimmune disease responsible for muscle stiffness in the midriff, and the possibility of muscle rigidity and spasms. This illness has no cure.

Due to her diagnosis, Dion had no other choice but to change the dates of her European shows during her worldwide tour. Unfortunately, in May 2023, she was forced to announce the complete cancellation of the tour.

On Thursday (23 May), the initial preview for "I Am: Celine Dion" was released. Director and Oscar nominee Irene Taylor conducted the filming. The clip showcases the acclaimed singer, who is currently 56 years old, as she sits comfortably in a chair and openly reveals: "Recently, doctors have informed me that I'm dealing with a highly uncommon neurological condition."

"I wasn't prepared to speak up earlier, but I am now," she says with a deep breath.

Fans were deeply moved by Dion’s honesty in the video, which also featured highlights of her live shows and recordings done in the studio. They shared their admiration for the famous singer, known for her hit song "My Heart Will Go On."

"I shed tears while watching Celine Dion and her documentary hasn't even been released yet," a Twitter user expressed.

One person wrote: "After viewing the trailer, I believe that fans like us will experience a tremendous range of emotions. She possesses an incredible energy, and I am incredibly proud to be a supporter of hers."

One fan expressed their inability to cope with an upcoming documentary about Celine Dion. They anticipate needing a day to emotionally process and release their feelings since even the trailer evokes a strong emotional response. The fan declares their love for Celine.

Dion, who is currently receiving therapy and treatment for her medical condition, admits that she is putting in a lot of effort each day. However, she acknowledges that it has been a challenging journey for her.

Starting to weep, she says: "I long for it deeply. The individuals. I yearn for them. If running isn't feasible, I'll stroll. If I'm unable to walk, I'll crawl. And I refuse to give up."

The documentary is described as a message of love to the singer's supporters. It will focus on the importance of music in her life and how it represents the strength of humanity.

Starting on the 25th of June, the popular streaming service Prime Video will offer the opportunity to watch the famous artist Celine Dion in her documentary titled "I Am: Celine Dion".
