Outside the confines of the police station, Martha and Humphrey face surprising obstacles in their roles as foster parents. Additionally, the return of Martha's former boyfriend, Archie, adds an unforeseen complication to their situation.
Esther faces an unexpected situation in her personal life, while a health issue concerning Anne brings back difficult memories. Meanwhile, Kelby begins a path of self-discovery and growth.

Who's Returning For Season Three?
Leading the third series will be Detective Inspector Humphrey Goodman, with the capable support of Detective Sergeant Esther Williams and Police Constable Kelby Hartford.
DI Goodman's fiancée, Martha Lloyd, will be by his side as they embark on their journey of fostering together as a couple.
Kris Marshall takes the spotlight as DI Humphrey Goodman, who has departed from the island of Saint Marie to join his fiancée Martha in her hometown of Shipton Abbott, located in Devon, in the series Beyond Paradise.
At 51 years old, Marshall is well-acquainted with holiday specials, having played a role in the beloved 2003 film Love Actually.
However, his significant breakthrough came when he played Nick Harper in the BBC comedy series My Family.
He made his debut as Detective Inspector Goodman in 2013 in the popular show Death in Paradise. After leaving the role in 2017, he was succeeded by Ardal O'Hanlon. A spin-off series titled Beyond Paradise premiered in 2023.
Sally Bretton plays the role of Martha Lloyd, who is the fiancée of DI Goodman in the series Beyond Paradise.
Bretton, 44, gained popularity from her role as Kim Alabaster in the comedy series Green Wing.

Dylan Llewellyn is set to reprise his role as PC Kelby Hartford at the Shipton Abbott station in the upcoming third season of Beyond Paradise.
