Harry Kane, the forward for Bayern Munich, scored twice in the game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, leading his team to a 2-1 win in the Bundesliga. This game also served as a preview for their upcoming match on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League semifinals against Real Madrid.
After losing their 11-year hold on the Bundesliga to Bayer Leverkusen a couple of weeks ago, the Bavarians have their sights set on securing the Champions League trophy. Their coach Thomas Tuchel is leaving soon and wants to end his time with the team on a high note.

In the ninth minute, Kane scored a goal with the assistance of Konrad Laimer who had made a great run. This effort by the team put them in the lead. Unfortunately, Laimer had to leave the game due to an injury.
In the 23rd minute, Hugo Ekitike shot from 18 meters which resulted in Eintracht reaching the same level as the other team. However, Kane was able to get things back under control with a penalty just after the hour mark, and this goal marked it as his 35th league goal.
He scored his 400th goal in his professional career, including for teams and his national squad. Additionally, his 42nd goal this season in every competition was the most he has ever scored as the captain of England.
The team's managers were forced to sub out the defender, Matthijs de Ligt, during the break as he had endured some harsh tackles.
Before an important Champions League match, games like this can be difficult. During this game, we unfortunately lost Konrad and Matthijs," Tuchel stated during his press conference. "Despite this, winning is the most effective way to prepare oneself. At present, we can put all of our concentration into Tuesday's game."
He'll have to be patient and wait for updates on De Ligt and Laimer's recovery status before making any decisions.
De Ligt is experiencing discomfort in his knee ligaments while Konrad has sustained an injury to his ankle. The results of their X-ray scans are pending and we remain optimistic that they will both be able to participate on Tuesday.
Bayern is still holding onto the second position in the rankings with only three games remaining to be played. They currently have 69 points, which is 12 points below Leverkusen. Furthermore, Leverkusen needed to score a last-minute goal to rescue a draw against VfB Stuttgart, who currently hold the third spot on the rankings with 64 points.
Borussia Dortmund, who will welcome Paris Saint-Germain for their Champions League semifinal match this week, were defeated 4-1 by their major opponents RB Leipzig. This loss allowed RB Leipzig to maintain their fourth spot.
Leipzig currently possess 62 points, which is a lead of five points over the team in fifth position, which happens to be Dortmund. Being among the first four teams in the league will ensure qualification for the group stage of the Champions League in the following season.
It's possible that Germany could secure a spot in the top five of UEFA's coefficient table if they continue to perform well in European competition for the rest of the season.
