Starting from Sunday 23rd July 2023, there will be a renewed bus service that runs directly through the well-known business hub, Thorpe Park Leeds, as well as the sought-after shopping and entertainment spot, The Springs.

Supported by Thorpe Park Developments Ltd as part of its broader dedication to promoting eco-friendly transportation options and ensuring convenient access throughout the area, Arriva's 165 and 164 bus routes will pass through Thorpe Park and The Springs, offering a service every 15 minutes throughout the day from Monday to Saturday, with a slightly reduced frequency during the evenings and on Sundays.

The transportation services on the bus will offer easy links to close by places such as Cross Gates, Garforth, Sherburn, Selby, Kippax, and Leeds City Centre. Arriva is presenting a discounted price for families purchasing tickets as well as a low fixed fare of £2 for all travelers.

Adam Varley, the Development Director at Scarborough Group International (SGI), who is also a partner in the joint venture with Thorpe Park Developments Ltd, expressed his thoughts:

We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully brought back the bus services for Thorpe Park Leeds and The Springs. With a workforce of more than 6,500 individuals and countless weekly visitors to The Springs, there is a great need for eco-friendly public transportation options. As the Park enters its next stage of development and expands with additional workspaces and amenities, the demand for such services will only grow stronger.

An exciting event called the "Summer Festival" is set to happen on Saturday, August 11th, at The Springs. The festival aims to raise awareness about the Arriva bus service. Stay tuned for more information coming your way!
