A teacher who acted as a predator has been convicted for engaging in sexual activities with two schoolboys.

After a two-week trial at Manchester Crown Court, Rebecca Joynes, who is 30 years old, was convicted of four instances of engaging in sexual activity with a minor and two instances of sexual activity with a minor while in a position of responsibility.

Joynes rejected the allegation that she engaged in sexual activity with a schoolboy known as boy A. During her court case, she emphasized that her connection with another adolescent, boy B, did not begin until after he had finished school, and she had lost her job, therefore making it not against the law.

In the court, the jurors were informed that both kids communicated with Joynes through cheeky Snapchat messages, and they chose to keep it a secret from their guardians.

According to the court, she accompanied Boy A to a shopping trip, even if he had lied about going to his friend's house after school on a Friday. During their shopping spree, she purchased a Gucci belt worth £350. Later on, they both went to her flat in Salford Quays, where they engaged in sexual activity twice.

Joynes cautioned the boy, "It's best if no one discovers this."

The following day, in court it was revealed that the mother of the boy had come across a mark on her son's neck that appeared to be a love bite. When asked about it, the boy simply brushed it off as being insignificant.

However, there were gossip spreading around and on Monday morning the police officers showed up in the school premises together with the mother of boy A, who was in a state of extreme sorrow. She stormed into the reception area after being informed that her son had stayed overnight with a teacher.

Joynes was released on bail under the condition that she must not have any unmonitored interactions with individuals who are below 18 years old.

The police found the teenager's sperm on her bedding after investigating the scene.

The blog reported that Boy B stated he started engaging in sexual activities at the age of 15, which included kissing and having sexual intercourse when he turned 16 while he was still in school.

According to the jury, Joynes had already been relieved of her duties at the high school when she supposedly gave kisses and caresses to the second boy (known as B), after sending him a picture of herself wearing only a thong.

According to the authorities, Boy B confessed that he considered their relationship as casual friends who occasionally engaged in sexual activity. He also admitted that they had been sexually active throughout his time in school.

According to him, Joynes informed him that she was unable to conceive and they engaged in intercourse without using protection.

The guy known as B informed the police that Joynes had organized a "date night" with "unexpected treats" all over the apartment the day before she was apprehended again. B went along with the plan and carried it out.

Finally, it turned out to be a onesie with the words "Greatest Father" printed on the front.

To the law enforcement officials, boy B exclaimed, "I was completely caught off guard and bewildered!" while expressing his shock.

During the trial, Joynes admitted to making foolish "errors" that led to the loss of her ideal career. These mistakes involved meeting with two adolescents and allowing them to come to her residence. However, she denied engaging in any sexual activity with the underage individuals.

She mentioned that she had recently ended a relationship that lasted for nine years, felt alone and was pleased by the extra consideration.

At the trial, she was seen in the courtroom with a baby's pink hat clearly concealed in her pants.

This was the property of the offspring she bore with male B.

Joynes cried when she informed the jury that her newborn, who she had with boy B, was taken away from her shortly after delivery, and now she has restricted visitation rights only three times per week.

Referring to the infant's head cover, attorney Joe Allman stated during his concluding argument to the jury: "That was a quite obvious effort to elicit your compassion."

According to Jane Wilson, who holds the position of senior crown prosecutor for CPS North West, Joynes is labelled as a "sexual predator".

Joynes was given the duty to educate and protect children. Instead, she misused her authority to lure and sexually take advantage of young male students. These actions have had a constant negative effect on those who were affected.

Both adolescents cannot be recognized because of legal restrictions.

Joynes is scheduled to receive his sentence on the 4th of July.
