Rio Ferdinand shared how Jude Bellingham's performance in the club has impressed Fabio Cannavaro, the former legendary player of Real Madrid.

Bellingham became a member of Real after leaving Borussia Dortmund in the previous summer. This has led to an amazing first season for him.

He has come second in scoring in La Liga, scoring a total of 16 goals and making four assists. In the UEFA Champions League, he has managed to score four times and provided four assists in seven matches.

Ferdinand, an expert on TNT Sports, shared his thoughts on Bellingham during his conversation with ex-Real Madrid players Cannavaro and Clarence Seedorf. The chat took place prior to the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League match between Manchester City and Real.

"When I inquired immediately about how Jude is being received there, what they believe about him, and the extent of his impact, Fabio Cannavaro had an expression on his face that suggested he had never witnessed anything similar before," shared Ferdinand.

According to him, the magnitude of the club and the intensity of its expectations are easily overlooked. The club's influence can easily overwhelm and discard you, but he has adopted and thrived in this environment. Moreover, he has assumed a significant portion of the burden of responsibility for the team and consistently delivers impressive performances every week.

"They are in disbelief; an Englishman is flying in another country, and I am present to witness it."

Before facing City, Bellingham disclosed that other clubs were keen on him before he joined Real Madrid last summer.

I believe I engaged in fantastic talks with a few English teams. However, when Real Madrid entered the picture, the decision was quite obvious.

No one else could repeat the words they spoke or the emotions they evoked in me. This year, I am benefiting from that experience and am filled with gratitude every time I attend training.

I have long desired this responsibility, however, I did not anticipate it to come so swiftly. I remember being at home in Dortmund, sitting on my couch, when I watched the game last year and was already eliminated!"
