Rio Ferdinand has shared that Fabio Cannavaro, the former Real Madrid player, was incredibly impressed by the impact that Jude Bellingham made at the club.

Bellingham became a part of Real team in the previous year leaving Borussia Dortmund behind and has had a fantastic first season.

He has scored a total of 16 goals in La Liga, placing him second on the list of top scorers. He has also assisted in four goals. In the UEFA Champions League, he has contributed four goals and four assists throughout seven matches.

Ferdinand, who is an expert on TNT Sports, talked about Bellingham when he met with ex-Real Madrid players Cannavaro and Clarence Seedorf before the second leg quarter-final of the Champions League game between Manchester City and Real.

Ferdinand quickly inquired about Jude's reception, opinions and influence over there. The way Cannavaro looked gave the impression that he had never witnessed something like it before.

The man mentioned that people often underestimate the size of the club and the intense pressure that comes with being a part of it. The club has the ability to quickly engulf you and then discard you. Despite this, he has fully embraced the challenge and is not only excelling under the pressure, but also taking on a great deal of responsibility for the team and consistently performing every week.

Prior to facing City, Bellingham disclosed that some clubs had expressed their interest in him before he signed up with Real Madrid in the previous summer.

I had some great talks with a few football teams in England, but when Real Madrid offered me a deal, it was an easy decision to make.

What they expressed and the emotions they stirred within me were unique to them alone. Presently, I am enjoying the benefits of those experiences this year. Whenever I attend practice, I feel an immense sense of appreciation.

Being given this responsibility has always been a desire of mine, however, I didn't expect it to happen so soon. As I recall, during the previous year's match, I was seated on my couch in Dortmund and had already left the game quite early.
