Zoe Ball reveals ex-husband Norman Cook would 'disappear with Noel Gallagher all the time' as she...
Zoe Ball and Jamie Oliver recounted some crazy tales from the '90s and early 2000s about their experiences with the Oasis brothers.
The 49-year-old television chef was a guest on the BBC Breakfast Radio 2 show hosted by Zoe, who is 53. This appearance took place on Thursday, after Zoe made her comeback to work on Monday following an unexplained six-week hiatus.
When discussing the upcoming reunion tour of Noel and Liam Gallagher next year, Jamie shared his frustration about not being able to secure tickets. In response, Zoe suggested that he reach out to her former husband, Norman Cook, who is 61 years old.
Zoe, who was married to Norman (known as Fatboy Slim) from 1999 to 2010, shared that her former husband would frequently go off with Noel, who is 57.
Those two would vanish together, and I would wonder, "Where's Norm?" "He's off in a field with Noel Gallagher." My reaction would be, "Oh no, not this again," especially when it involves Noel Gallagher, she remembered.

Regarding the reunion tour next year featuring Noel and Liam Gallagher, Jamie shared his frustration about not being able to secure tickets.
Zoe shared that in the 1990s, she lived in an apartment that was right behind Noel's home. During a visit there, Jamie accidentally caught himself on fire while trying to drink absinthe.
He asked, "Do you recall when I caught myself on fire after drinking something? What was that drink again?"
Zoe responded, "I’ll never touch absinthe again. We would lie in bed and say, 'Wait a second, there’s an argument happening.'"
He often felt excluded back then. It was quite amusing. Those were the times!
Is it true that Liam Gallagher once woke you up by yelling outside your house for a bacon sandwich?
Liam often visited a pub that was located right across from Jamie's home, and during his walk back, he liked to tease the chef.
Jamie mentioned, "He really did. He asked for a bacon sandwich through the mail slot."
I leaned out and said, "Hey there!" Poppy and Daisy had just arrived into the world. I added, "The little ones are trying to nap – could you keep it down, please?"
Liam would often visit a pub located right across from Jamie's old home, and during his walk back, he frequently enjoyed teasing the chef.
Jamie mentioned that he would yell at Liam from the window to keep the noise down for his kids after the Oasis musician pleaded with him to slide some bacon sandwiches through the mail slot.
He used to spend time at the Holly Bush, and he always seemed so stylish. He's definitely a unique personality.
Last year, I saw him perform twice with John Squire from the Stone Roses, and it was incredible to witness their unique vibe. That show took place in Kentish Town. I also attended the anniversary concert for Definitely Maybe, where I spotted Noel in a VIP area, but no one would take my word for it.
"I laid eyes on him. How could he possibly be there if it wasn't meant to happen?"
Liam had talked about teasing Jamie during his appearance on The Jonathan Ross show.
He mentioned, "On our way back, we’d be saying, 'He has some food in there.'"
He would show up at the window and say, "Liam, stop messing around, I'm trying to get the kids to sleep!" and we would reply, "Just throw us a couple of bacon sandwiches!"
He’s relocated. The interesting part is that he has moved to the same area where I currently reside.
When it comes to obtaining tickets, Zoe recommended, "Try reaching out to Jo Whiley or Liam. The guys are in great shape these days."
Jamie commented, "I can picture Liam sprinting in his parka. When you think of Liam running, that's precisely how I'd envision it."
Zoe disclosed that in the 1990s, she lived in an apartment adjacent to Noel's home. Jamie visited her there and unintentionally caught himself on fire while using absinthe (as seen in the picture from 1998).
Wearing his parka with the hood pulled over his head, he jogs around in his own little world. He has a personal park that I won’t name, and nobody else is aware that he's there—except for me, of course, who is supposedly observing through a telescope. Just kidding, I’m not really doing that.
Millions of fans tried to grab a share of the roughly one million tickets up for grabs for the 17 tour dates. The schedule features two performances each in Cardiff, Edinburgh, and Dublin, along with five shows in both Manchester and London throughout July and August.
On Monday, Zoe made her comeback to her Radio 2 program after a break of six weeks.
After the passing of her cherished mother, the star was encouraged to 'take all the time she requires.' However, Zoe made her return to work on May 13.
Following her six-week break, Zoe expressed her gratitude to her coworker and radio host Scott Mills for stepping in to manage her program. She said, "I just wanted to take a moment to thank Scott for taking care of the show, and of course, Spoony for handling Scott's show while he did."
He was originally set to travel the globe as a DJ, but had to alter all his plans. A big thank you to the guys and to everyone for their incredible support.
Many of you reached out with messages from listeners, and they truly meant a lot to me. I want to express my gratitude to all of you wonderful people.
