Scott Mills covers BBC Radio 2 Breakfast as Zoe Ball takes time off

Scott Mills is filling in for Zoe Ball on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show while she is away.

On the previous Friday, Zoe was not hosting her show, so Gaby Roslin filled in. This morning, Scott was hosting the show instead. He kicked off by greeting the audience with, "Good morning. Surprised to see me? Happy Monday, it's Scott Mills."

He also mentioned that he will be taking over Zoe's role for the upcoming weeks and said: "Sending lots of love your way Zo', from the whole team."

Zoe had just come back to the show after taking a break to look after her mother.

A representative from the BBC informed RadioToday that Zoe is currently on a break and will be back in September.
