WWE Bad Blood 2024

The Rock made his return to WWE at Bad Blood 2024, and he wasn’t alone—Jimmy Uso made his comeback too. The crowd went wild when a masked Jimmy Uso swooped in to help Roman Reigns, delivering two superkicks to the Guerrillas of Destiny. Reigns found himself in a tough spot since Cody Rhodes was sidelined after taking a tumble through a table while facing Jacob Fatu.

The comeback of Jimmy and Rocky paves the way for a potential conflict within the Bloodline at WWE Survivor Series WarGames. Additionally, The Rock's appearance will undoubtedly be a hot topic during that event.

Rocky made his comeback amid speculation about his return after he was seen at a high school football game in Georgia. The last episode of Bad Blood ended on a suspenseful note, leaving viewers uncertain about The Rock’s allegiance: is he with the original Bloodline or the new one?

For the first time, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes joined forces, representing the foremost heroes in wrestling as they took on the Bloodline. This was a significant moment for Reigns, as it was his first appearance in four years without holding a world title. Nevertheless, both of their entrances were filled with the grand spectacle expected at WrestleMania 40.

An impressive lineup for the main event caused tickets to sell out quickly for WWE’s 60th event of 2024. With The Rock and Jimmy Uso returning as WrestleMania approaches, WWE is set to surpass the success of its last two iconic WrestleMania events.

Rhodes And Reigns Vs. The Bloodline: All Details

Following a typical Bloodline entrance, Cody Rhodes was welcomed into the arena by the marching band from the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff. Roman Reigns, not wanting to be outshone, arrived with the Georgia Philharmonic. Even before the match kicked off, fans were enthusiastically chanting both "OTC!" and "Cody!" It was no accident that Cody sported red and gold, the colors of the iconic Mega Powers.

Following a quick conversation, Cody Rhodes kicked off the match against Jacob Fatu. Solo Sikoa showed up to back his enforcer, which led Roman to intervene and support Cody, earning a big reaction from the crowd.

Cody Rhodes responded to the “OTC!” cheers by bringing Roman Reigns into the match. Reigns unleashed a series of punishing punches on Solo. Although Solo managed to fight back for a moment, Roman ultimately tossed Solo out of the ring.

Jacob Fatu steps in and prepares for a showdown with Roman Reigns. Taking advantage of the distraction, Solo launched a surprise attack on Reigns from behind, generating a huge reaction from the crowd.

Fatu jumped into the match and unleashed a flurry of moves on Roman Reigns, capping it off with an impressive shoulder charge in the corner.

Reigns brings Cody into the match, but The Bloodline quickly seizes control when Solo Sikoa enters the ring and begins to overpower Rhodes. The crowd starts chanting “you can’t wrestle” and “F-U Solo” as Sikoa delivers a barrage of attacks on Cody. Jacob and Solo keep switching in and out, relentlessly targeting Rhodes with simultaneous body slams.

After a lot of buildup teasing interactions with Roman Reigns, The OTC finally entered the match and unleashed a flurry of action on Solo Sikoa.

Solo Sikoa attempted to block a Superman Punch using a Samoan Spike, but Reigns managed to turn the situation around with a crucifix rollup.

Jacob Fatu swung the momentum in favor of The Bloodline, as they took turns delivering Samoan Splashes and moonsaults to Roman. Cody Rhodes stepped in to rescue Reigns by interrupting the pin attempt. Fatu then chased after Rhodes outside the ring, but ended up crashing through the barricade.

Cody Rhodes took advantage of the moment by laying Jacob on the table and leaping through it with a Cody Splash. Just before the leap, Rhodes urged Reigns to take over. This prompted the crowd to start chanting, “This is awesome!”

As Reigns attempted to deliver the Spear on Sikoa, the Tongans appeared to divert his attention. This distraction resulted in a Samoan Spike, bringing about a near fall. Solo aimed for another Samoan Spike, but his focus was pulled away by a figure in a hoodie. This individual then struck the Guerrillas of Destiny with a super kick and unveiled himself as Jimmy Uso. In the end, Roman hit Solo with a Spear to secure the victory.

After the match, The New Bloodline launched an assault on Cody Rhodes. Jimmy Uso urged Roman to go back into the ring and help Cody, and they both jumped in to assist. Once the ring was cleared, Reigns lifted the Undisputed WWE Championship and gazed at it fondly while the crowd reacted with boos. Eventually, he handed it over to Rhodes, albeit with some hesitation.

Enter The Rock, who returned holding the People’s Championship. He didn't say a word; instead, he gestured “1, 2, 3...” before walking away.
