Nevertheless, subway operators who are part of the Aslef union may still carry out their scheduled strikes on November 7 and 12, depending on the results of discussions set for Monday.
Italy Faces Nationwide Public Transport Strikes
On November 8th, people using public transportation in Italy might experience delays and service interruptions due to a planned nationwide strike lasting 24 hours.
Employees at bus, tram, commuter train, metro, and ferry services across the nation are set to strike due to issues related to pay and working conditions, which will have differing effects in each city. However, long-distance train services are anticipated to remain unaffected.

Air travelers in Italy should prepare for some delays on November 12, as unionized air traffic controllers working for ENAV will be on strike from 1 PM to 5 PM.
Strikes are scheduled at Bologna Marconi (BLQ), Lampedusa (LMP), Naples International (NAP), Perugia (PEG), Pescara (PSR), and Rome Fiumicino (FCO). These actions might also disrupt flights throughout the rest of the country.
Additional delays are anticipated in Bologna, Catania, and Rome, as baggage handlers are set to join the strike.
In Milan, airport baggage handlers are planning to go on strike on November 29, which could result in ground delays. On that same day, employees of WizzAir will also be on strike for 24 hours, which may affect flights nationwide.
EasyJet Staff In France Plan Indefinite Strike
French employees of the budget airline easyJet have announced an ongoing strike that began in September and will continue until December 16. This action is in response to the company's decision to shut down its Toulouse base.
Specific dates for the walkouts haven't been revealed yet, but flight disruptions at easyJet could occur nationwide in the upcoming weeks due to potential strike actions.
