Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have split up after being together for five years. The couple were once engaged and have a child together. They were also finalists on Love Island season five.

The 25-year-old social media star posted on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, August 14, to announce the unexpected end of her relationship. "I never thought I would have to say this," Hague started her statement. "After five years together, I never expected our love story to come to an end, especially not like this."

I am very sad to say that my relationship with Tommy has ended," she said. "I will always be thankful for the most important thing in my life, my lovely daughter. Without us, she wouldn't exist, and she will always come first for me."

The reality TV celebrity expressed gratitude to her fans for their support over the past five years. She acknowledged that they have played a significant role in her journey and felt compelled to share this momentous occasion with them.

Hague did not provide an explanation for their separation, but she requested that her followers "please respect my privacy during this challenging period" as she tried to "manage" the end of the relationship.

"I will return when the time is right," she stated, before signing off with: "Molly-Mae x"

Fury, aged 25, later posted on Instagram Stories about their breakup. The professional boxer expressed his sadness by writing on a black screen: "Molly and I have chosen to part ways, and it breaks my heart to share this news."

"For the last five years, we have been blessed with our precious daughter, Bambi, and I will always be grateful to Molly for giving me the gift of fatherhood. Bambi is our main focus," Fury stated.

He repeated what Hague said, asking for privacy as "we go through this challenging time."

The duo crossed paths in 2019 during their time on season five of ITV's Love Island. Hague and Fury revealed in September 2022 that they were anticipating the arrival of their first child. In January 2023, the ex-couple joyfully welcomed their daughter, Bambi.

Fury asked the PrettyLittleThing spokesperson to marry him in July of last year, four years after they first met on the well-known reality dating show. Despite this, speculation has been circulating about the couple ever since.

In December, Hague responded to rumors that she and Fury had broken up following a video of him with another woman at a club. The social media personality was also briefly spotted without her engagement ring, and she later shared in a video on YouTube that she has been facing some difficulties.

After hearing rumors about their breakup, Hague confidently told her supporters, "I am not affected by the gossip regarding me, Tommy, or our relationship."
