Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury: Former Love Island contestants announce split

Tommy Fury

Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague, who are both 25 years old, first crossed paths on the reality TV show Love Island on ITV2 back in 2019.

Molly-Mae Hague revealed that she and Tommy Fury have ended their relationship after being together for five years.

The social media star announced on her Instagram story to her 7.9 million followers that she would be taking a break from social media.

I'm really sad to say that Tommy and I are no longer together.

The couple, who found each other on the 2019 season of Love Island and got engaged in 2023, happily welcomed their daughter Bambi in the early part of last year.

Fury expressed deep sadness in his own words, requesting that fans respect his privacy during this difficult time. He also expressed gratitude towards Hague for giving him the gift of fatherhood, emphasizing that their main focus is their child, Bambi.

Hague and Fury, both 25 years old, are possibly the most well-known couple to come from the TV show Love Island on ITV2.

In her essay, Hague expressed: "I never imagined that I would need to write these words."

After being in a relationship for five years, I never thought that our journey would come to an end, especially not like this.

She said: "I will always be thankful for the most precious thing in my life, my lovely daughter."

She is the most important person in my life, without me she wouldn't exist.

I appreciate all the support and affection we have received from everyone during the past five years.

"You have all been with us along the way, and I think it's only fair to let you in on our story."

Hague finished her post by stating that she will return to social media when the timing feels appropriate.

Not long after that, Fury posted his own message on Instagram, sharing with his followers: "It saddens me to say that Molly & I have chosen to break up and go our separate ways."

Over the last five years, we have been blessed with the arrival of our precious daughter, Bambi. I am eternally grateful to Molly for giving me the gift of fatherhood. Our main focus is now on taking care of Bambi and ensuring her happiness.

He ended by asking for privacy for himself and his family as they deal with this challenging situation.

Fury is the sibling of the current heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury, and is also a professional boxer.

Hague has the largest number of followers on social media out of all the former Love Island contestants, and served as the creative director for the fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing until just recently.

Fury and Hague crossed paths during the 2019 season of Love Island. Fury was among the first batch of contestants that year, while Hague joined the reality show on the fourth day.

After getting together, the duo reached the final but ended up in second place behind Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea.

Yet, despite the show ending, Hague and Fury remained a couple and welcomed their daughter Bambi in January 2023.

Fury asked Hague to marry him in Ibiza half a year later, during a ceremony on a cliff with white roses all around.

Hague hails from Stevenage and was raised in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, while Fury is a native of Manchester.

They just showed up on the reality show At Home With The Furys on Netflix. The show mainly followed the family of Tommy's brother Tyson.
