Margot Robbie 'pregnant and expecting first baby' with husband Tom Ackerley

Margot Robbie is expecting her first baby, as reported by several sources.

The 34-year-old actress from Australia who played Barbie, has been married to her husband, a British film producer also aged 34, since 2016.

After much talk and rumors online over the weekend when Margot was seen with a noticeable baby bump, insiders told People that she is definitely pregnant.

Showing off her stomach on Sunday (July 7), the actress from Suicide Squad was captured cautiously getting onto a boat during a vacation to Lake Como with her partner.

Pictures from the Daily Mail show the famous actress looking stylish in all-black clothing, with her midriff exposed in a white cropped top.

They first crossed paths in 2013 while working on the film Suite Française, a World War II drama. Tom was working as an assistant director and she was playing the role of Celine.

They got married in December, three years after, in a small and private ceremony in Byron Bay, Australia.

Since they always kept their relationship out of the public eye, the couple didn't reveal their plans to get married until after they had already tied the knot.

Yet, Tom provided a unique response to The Sunday Times recently when he was questioned about how the famous duo manages to juggle their professional and personal lives.

"We are together all day, every day," he said.

"It flows smoothly. We don't have a switch to turn on or off. It has all blended into one cohesive experience."

The director from Surrey playfully mentioned that their most heated disagreement was about which is superior, Tim Tams from Australia or Penguins.

In May 2016, Margot, the star of Wolf of Wall Street, spoke to Vogue and got very sentimental when discussing their relationship.

"I was the epitome of a single woman. The thought of being in a relationship made me feel sick," she admitted.

"And all of a sudden, this feeling snuck up on me. We were friends for such a long time. I've always had feelings for him."

She expressed: "I believed that he would never feel the same way about me. I tried not to act awkwardly or foolishly and confess my feelings to him."

"And then it happened, and I thought to myself, 'It's no wonder we're a couple. Everything suddenly clicked, in a way that has never happened to me before.'"

Their love story has clearly continued to flourish over the years, as evidenced by the fact that in 2014, Margot and Tom decided to join forces and establish LuckyChap Entertainment, a production company.

She has appeared in a number of films, such as Barbie, I, Tonya, and Birds of Prey, which she has acted in.
