Mohamed Salah from Liverpool has received glowing remarks from Rio Ferdinand who has placed him in the league of the all-time excellent Premier League players.
The 31-year-old is having an outstanding start to the season, having scored six goals and provided four assists up to now.
Ferdinand and Peter Crouch, who work as analysts for TNT Sports, recently pointed out how reliable Salah has been in his performances leading up to the Merseyside Derby with Everton.
According to Ferdinand, this individual is an exceptional scorer who ranks among the top performers that the Premier League has ever witnessed.
I hold him to a high regard; I believe he's an exceptional athlete and possesses the confidence that sets him apart from ordinary players.
He has consistently performed exceptionally well, which puts him in the top tier of players seen in the Premier League. For Liverpool to sustain their success, they should strive to retain him for as long as possible.
Former Liverpool forward Peter Crouch expressed similar feelings, drawing comparisons between the Egyptian player and two of the team's greatest players.
"He's a resilient athlete and appears to have the ability to find the back of the net in each match," he commented.
Looking at his statistics, it becomes clear that he either scores a goal or helps create one in almost every match. He performs with such effectiveness that he can be compared to other football legends that came before him, such as Robbie Fowler and Steven Gerrard, both of whom achieved great success in the Premier League.
"He is absolutely amazing and has an unrelenting attitude. You need to have two defenders on him, because if he faces anyone alone, he will overpower them."
In the meantime, Abdoulaye Doucoure has stood out as a bright spot during a dismal time for Everton. Crouch has praised the way the Malian player has taken charge in the wake of Dominic Calvert-Lewin's recent absence.
According to him, in Calvert-Lewin's absence due to injury, someone had to step forward and be responsible for scoring goals.
"He has demonstrated his commitment and reliability during a crucial moment, stepping up when the team was struggling to score."

Ex-Toffees player Phil Jagielka also commented on the significant impact of Doucoure's goals in the ongoing season.
Jagielka stated that the most effective player in Everton's offense during the last half of the year has likely been the same player who scored significant goals in the previous season.
Sean Dyche will surely be pleased to see that he has some choices when it comes to playing alongside the upcoming and active player. He is back in shape and has started performing at his best once again.
