Coldplay ticket issues as pre-sale sells out on Ticketmaster

Ticketmaster

Tickets became available for purchase at 9 AM on Thursday for those who had pre-ordered Coldplay's latest album, but the quantities were limited.

Fans have taken to social media to discuss the concerts, stating that the pre-sale tickets were completely sold out in only 20 minutes.

One individual mentioned that they spotted this message appearing on the Ticketmaster website at 9:22 AM: "UPDATE: There are no tickets available for this pre-sale at the moment."

An upset fan expressed their frustration, saying: "I really can't wrap my head around this. I realize that most of these are just scams, but it feels incredibly unjust. I’m just an everyday Coldplay supporter who logged in at 9 a.m. as instructed, and somehow I'm stuck at 163,000 in line, while others are already selling tickets."

One more fan commented: “During the first pre-sale for Coldplay, I was in line at 49,000 but obviously missed out on tickets. Now, for the latest pre-sale, the number has jumped to 85,000. I really can’t stand Ticketmaster.”

One person expressed their frustration, saying, "This is my third time waiting in line today for Coldplay tickets. I'm really annoyed. I can't stand Ticketmaster. I just want to buy one ticket, but I'm not willing to pay between £800 and £1000 like some of the sellers are asking."

Another frustrated fan expressed their anger, saying, “This is just outrageous with @TicketmasterUK once more. I had a Priority Access code, joined the waiting line at 8:30, got into the queue at 9, and found myself at number 38,000. After waiting for three and a half hours, I finally got to 990, only to be told it's closed and that all presale tickets are sold out. I’m really upset. @coldplay.”
