The British band has just revealed that they will be playing six shows at Wembley next summer as a part of their record-setting Music Of The Spheres World Tour. They've also added four more performances because of overwhelming demand.

Nonetheless, when ticket sales began at 9 AM on Friday, numerous fans felt disappointed because Ticketmaster asked users to verify their accounts but did not send the needed confirmation codes.

This is the newest issue for Ticketmaster, coming after criticism regarding their "dynamic pricing system," which caused Oasis concert tickets to rise to as much as £355.

Right before Coldplay tickets became available for sale, annoyed fans flocked to X (formerly Twitter) to share their struggles with not receiving their verification codes, preventing them from buying any tickets.

The band has announced additional shows in London for their Music Of The Spheres worldwide tour.

One fan expressed their frustration, saying, "Here we go again with Ticketmaster. I tried to log in at 8:30, but first, I was told to change my password. Then I had to authenticate my account, and now I'm still waiting for a code that hasn’t arrived, so I'm unable to access the waiting room! #coldplay #ticketmaster."

One user expressed frustration, saying, "Ticketmaster says I need a code to confirm my account, but then they don’t send it at all??? It doesn’t add up #coldplay."

Another person mentioned, "I'm trying to access the waiting room, but it’s asking me to confirm my identity... I’m not receiving any verification code."

Shortly after the ticket sale started, fans who got into the queue were shocked to receive alerts saying there were only a "few tickets" left.

"I was waiting in presale lines all day yesterday and logged into the waiting room at 8:30 this morning," one person wrote. "Now, just 35 minutes later at 9:05, I'm receiving this message for the general sale. I'm so disappointed! #Coldplay #Ticketmaster."

Another user commented: “It would be helpful to understand why all ticket options are already so scarce just 2 minutes before the general sale begins. #coldplay #ticketmaster”

"Ticketmaster has reportedly sold 90% of its tickets to resellers, the AXS queue has been stuck for an hour, and both See Tickets and various gig and tour websites have completely crashed. Everything appears to be sold out, yet it seems like no one actually has tickets? How has this become the standard? #Coldplay," another user expressed.

"I bought a presale code but ended up waiting in long lines with over 170,000 others and ended up with nothing. This morning, I woke up at 7 AM to log into four different ticket sites for the general sale, and when the sale started at 9 AM, I was told there were no tickets available! Why is it so difficult?" a fan expressed.

In light of the backlash, a representative from Ticketmaster explained to The Standard: "As expected, millions of fans are visiting our website today for Coldplay's record-setting tour, which has led to a waiting line. The queue is progressing as fans purchase their tickets. We encourage all fans to register and confirm their accounts ahead of time. Additional tips can be found here."

For those looking to grab tickets for the upcoming Wembley events without dealing with ticket resale sites, Wembley offers a range of hospitality packages. Prices start at £499 and include excellent seating, VIP access, fine dining, and personalized service.

The band's tour will open general ticket sales after it was revealed they will be the first musical group to perform for ten consecutive nights at Wembley Stadium during a single tour, surpassing the record previously shared by Taylor Swift and Take That.

On Thursday, the London venue shared a message on X, revealing that the group will achieve “a new Wembley record” following the announcement of extra concerts for their 2025 world tour.

The article noted: "Coldplay has made history at Wembley by performing an unprecedented ten nights at the iconic venue during the #MusicOfTheSpheresWorldTour. This unique achievement could only take place here."

The group, which includes lead singer Chris Martin, guitarist Jonny Buckland, drummer Will Champion, and bassist Guy Berryman, originally scheduled six concerts at Wembley for next year. However, they decided to add four additional shows because of “incredible demand.”

Grammy-winning artist Swift launched her massive Eras Tour in 2023 and made history by being the first solo performer to play at the venue eight times during one tour. To celebrate this milestone, the stadium presented her with a custom-made guitar.

The pop band Take That, famous for songs like "Patience" and "Greatest Day," held eight concerts at the stadium in 2011.

The popular band, famous for hits like Clocks, Yellow, and Fix You, is set to perform at Craven Park in Hull next August. They will be joined by a special guest, who has not yet been revealed.

This year, the band took center stage at the Glastonbury Festival on Saturday night, performing alongside notable artists like Little Simz and the legendary Nigerian musician Femi Kuti. They were also joined by Michael J. Fox, the star from Back to the Future.

The band is set to perform in Australia starting in October as part of their continuing Music Of The Spheres world tour, which takes its name from their album released in 2021.

Their upcoming studio album, Moon Music, is set to come out in October.
