The English performer held the record for having been part of the children's television series for the longest period of time, portraying the character of Mr. Robson.

Organ began his journey as an actor in Leeds, back in 1975. He also showcased his acting skills in the television dramas Brookside and Doctor Who.

He has also worked on shows like Casualty, The Bill, and Holby City, as well as movies like Those Glory Glory Days and Fork In The Road.

On Friday, it was announced that the performer passed away at home after a brief illness in a peaceful manner.

Organ's most notable role was on Grange Hill, a BBC series, where he portrayed the character of Peter Robson for 15 years. Initially, he played the part of the head of Physical Education when he first appeared in 1988. Later, he took on the role of headmaster a decade later.

From 1978 to 2008, a television program focused on the daily life in a London high school. It grabbed attention by addressing important topics including discrimination, substance abuse, adolescent childbirth, mental health, and HIV/AIDS.

In 2003, the performer made the choice to depart from the show following the declaration that the creation will be transferred to Liverpool.

Grange Hill was responsible for turning Lee MacDonald's Zammo McGuire and Todd Carty's Tucker Jenkins into famous characters that everyone knew.

During a segment of Doctors in 2016, Stuart Organ appeared as a guest.

During the year 2022, the originator, Sir Phil Redmond, discussed the possibility of reviving the television series as a feature film.

Organ is also known for his standout performances as Kevin Cross on the popular soap opera Brookside and as Bazin in the Doctor Who series episode titled Dragonfire, which aired in 1987.

He started acting in 1975 at Leeds Playhouse where he appeared in a play called Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead by Tom Stoppard. This play is a retelling of the story of Hamlet by William Shakespeare.

He has also acted in other theatre productions such as An Englishman Abroad, wherein he portrayed Guy Burgess in a York production in 2003, and in the play Corpse, wherein he played the role of Major Powell in Hornchurch in 2007.

Even if the audience is young, they might recognize the voice of the person we are talking about. Although he hasn't appeared on screen recently, he has lent his voice to a few cartoons and video games, including Star Wars: The Old Republic.

He is a well-known speaker among the passengers of the London Underground. He relays information about stations, different lines, delays, and reminds users to be cautious about the gap.
