Stevie Nicks had to reschedule her concert in Glasgow at the last minute due to a leg injury that required minor surgery.

The ex-singer from Fleetwood Mac was scheduled to perform at the OVO Hydro on Saturday, but event planners announced that she requires some time to recuperate after a medical treatment.

The 76-year-old singer was set to perform their first solo show in Scotland, having previously appeared in the city with Fleetwood Mac in 2015.

The concert in Manchester on Tuesday has been delayed, but the singer will be back for two shows at Hyde Park in London next Friday and Saturday.

A recent update on the OVO Hydro's Facebook page, posted shortly before the concert, mentioned that the singer would be taking some time off to recuperate after undergoing a minor surgery on her leg.

The person in charge of the venue mentioned that new dates will be announced shortly.

The singer from America became a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1975, which led to them achieving great success as a music group. They have sold over 120 million records, making them one of the most successful acts in music history.

Gossip has it that the band's second album featuring Nicks was a huge success, selling millions of copies around the globe.

As a solo singer, Nicks has been successful with records like Bella Donna, which reached 11th place on the UK albums chart, and The Other Side of the Mirror, which hit number three in 1989.

Earlier this week, popular American singer Megan thee Stallion unexpectedly called off her scheduled performance in Glasgow.

She explained that the reason for this was because there is construction happening at the location.

Susan Kerr and her daughter, Ellena, journeyed from the Scottish capital to attend the singer's performance.

Susan Kerr from Edinburgh expressed her deep disappointment regarding the news.

"We have journeyed to this place and were informed earlier today. However, since we are staying overnight, we plan to fully enjoy our time here."

She mentioned that she paid £150 per night for her hotel room for herself and her daughter, in addition to £20 each for transportation costs.

The concert tickets were priced at £189 and Susan also decided to take a day off from work.

Her daughter, Ellena, was set to visit her in Manchester on Tuesday, but the meeting has been delayed.
