Stevie Nicks, the iconic member of Fleetwood Mac, has been confirmed as the main act for this year's British Summer Time (BST) Hyde Park festival.

The artist, who has won a Grammy award, is set to perform in London on July 12th. It is anticipated that over 65,000 individuals will be present at the event.

She will be joining the previously announced headliners of BST, which include Andrea Bocelli on July 5th, Robbie Williams on July 6th, and the popular K-pop group Stray Kids on July 14th.

The festival happening in London will showcase three main performers, Kings Of Leon on June 30th, Shania Twain on July 7th, and Kylie Minogue on July 13th.

There will be more names added to the lineup in the following weeks.

Nicks hasn't revealed the names of the supporting performers who will be appearing alongside her.

The vocalist and songwriter's previous show was at BST Hyde Park in 2017, where she was the opening act for Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.

There are rumors that Nicks might be one of the artists performing at Glastonbury in 2024. This speculation follows an announcement by Emily Eavis, who is one of the event's organizers, stating that a female artist will occupy this year's legendary slot.

A performer who is currently 75 years of age will be gracing the platform on July 12th in the city of London.

"Having the opportunity to explore and create music is always a wish that is fulfilled."

Nicks became a member of Fleetwood Mac back in 1975, and is recognized for her role as both a vocalist and writer for some of the band's most beloved tracks. This includes popular tunes such as "Dreams", "I Don't Want to Know", and "Gold Dust Woman".

The band's most popular album, Rumours, has three songs that stand out. It was released in 1977 and has been purchased by over 40 million people across the globe, making it the fifth highest-selling album from that time.

The performer who writes and sings their own songs is going to have a big show at BST Hyde Park after doing a series of shows where they were the main act in the United States.

During the month of October, Nicks put forward the idea that Fleetwood Mac will not continue to perform together due to the sad passing of the talented singer-songwriter, Christine McVie.

McVie, who created some of the group's best-known songs like "Everywhere" and "Little Lies," passed away at the age of 79 on November 30, 2022. Her death was traced back to an ischaemic stroke, as later revealed.
