The ex-One Direction member, who is now 30 years old, performed a song called "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" with Nicks, who is 76 years old. The song was originally released in 1981 by Nicks along with the late Tom Petty and his band The Heartbreakers.

Nicks sang a song with Petty at a concert in Hyde Park in 2017, shortly before the rock legend passed away at the age of 66.

During the performance tonight, Nicks spoke about Petty, mentioning that it was a significant day for various reasons. She expressed her belief in his presence and said she felt his joy at her being there.

Styles stayed on stage to sing the 1975 hit "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac, and then Nicks paid a heartfelt tribute to her former bandmate Christine McVie, who passed away in 2022 at the age of 79. Today would have been McVie's 81st birthday.

Nicks addressed the audience, stating: "I just want to let you all know that Christine was very dear to me and she cared for each and every one of us. Today would have been her birthday."

She said, "You all have supported me through [her passing], and I want to express how grateful I am for your help."

Nicks expressed her gratitude to Styles for performing with her on stage, stating: "Harry, I appreciate you - we appreciate you!"

In other parts of the show, Nicks encouraged the audience to become politically involved and mentioned that she didn't vote until she was 70 years old. She explained that she was always busy but advised others to not make the same mistake and to make sure to vote.

In 2019, Nicks playfully mentioned that Styles seems like a combination of herself and bandmate Mick Fleetwood, complimenting him on his first solo album.

"We consider him to be the love child of Mick and myself," Nicks revealed to Rolling Stone. "When Harry entered our lives, I felt a strong connection and thought of him as the son I have never had. That's why I decided to officially adopt him."

"I adore Harry, and I am ecstatic that he chose to create a rock and roll album. He could have gone with a pop album, which would have been the simpler choice," she added. "But it seems like he also wanted to channel the vibes of 1948 - his album has more of a 1975 feel to it."

In that year, Styles honored Nicks by inducting her into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

Styles announced during the ceremony that Stevie Nicks is the first woman to be named twice to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Nicks was initially inducted with Fleetwood Mac and now again for her exceptional solo career. Styles praised Nicks, stating that her music remains relevant and powerful, with her most recent performances showcasing her continued dedication to her craft. Nicks' talent and influence are timeless, making her a truly iconic figure in the music industry.
