Writing on X, previously known as Twitter, the former shadow cabinet minister stated: "To whoever vandalized my office last night, a message for you. You cannot scare me and you have no place in the political sphere."

Just like those spreading harmful and untrue flyers. The police are already investigating to locate you - they will push for harsh punishments for this undemocratic assault. I am confident that Walthamstow will not be intimidated or swayed by your violent actions.

Ms Creasy also shared photos of the vandalism at her Walthamstow office in northeast London, where she is campaigning to keep her position that she has held since 2010 in the upcoming general election on July 4th.

The pictures displayed a window and glass door with numerous holes punched into them, alongside cracks running through the glass.

This is not the initial occasion that Ms Creasy has been singled out.

This time last year, a man made a troubling complaint about her online, which led to a social services inquiry. Ms. Creasy was said to have gone through a safety evaluation and was soon found to be innocent.

The man, who was not related to the Labour MP or her two children, expressed his opposition to her efforts against misogyny.

The police in the city said that the office on Orford Road in her area was chosen as a target between 3.10am and 3.30am.

Detective Superintendent Dion Brown, a high-ranking officer in charge of policing Waltham Forest, stated: "It is completely unacceptable for the headquarters of a potential parliamentary candidate in London to be attacked in this manner.

A quick inquiry is in progress, with officers on site and actively pursuing leads, including reviewing all CCTV footage.

The rest of the people running for office in Walthamstow include Imran Arshad from the Workers Party of Britain, Mohammed Ashfaq as an Independent candidate, Dan Edelstyn also running independently, Sanjana Madan Mohan Karnani representing the Conservative Party, Martin Lonergan from Reform UK, Ruth Theresa Rawlins as an Independent candidate, Rosalinda Ayo Rowlands from the Green Party, Nancy Taaffe representing the Trade Union and Socialist Coalition, and Rebecca Taylor from the Liberal Democrats.
