Ryan Gosling made a statement about his nomination for the movie Barbie, and he felt sad that Greta Gerwig, the director, and Margot Robbie, the lead actress, were not recognized for their hard work in the movie.

The highly successful movie has been put forward for eight Academy Awards, such as the coveted Best Picture accolade. However, Gerwig and Robbie did not receive nominations for Best Director and Best Actress categories, correspondingly.

Gosling got the nod for the Best Supporting Actor award for portraying the character Ken.

I saw a statement that Gosling, an actor, wrote. The Independent published it. In the statement, Gosling said that he felt very proud and privileged to be nominated for a movie award. He explained that he was honored to be nominated alongside other talented actors, especially considering the many excellent movies that were made this year. Gosling also expressed his disbelief that he was nominated for his portrayal of Ken, a plastic toy. Despite his surprise at the recognition, Gosling said he was humbled and grateful to be recognized by his colleagues.

However, Barbie and Ken are inseparable, and the production of the Barbie movie owes a great deal to Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie. These two individuals are the driving force behind this movie that has become renowned around the world and has made history.

Without their skills, determination, and brilliance, no one would receive any acknowledgment for their contributions in the film.

I am extremely let down that they did not receive nominations in their respective categories.

The movie 'Barbie' will star Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie.

Their incredible achievement deserves recognition and should be placed on the same pedestal as the other highly qualified nominees. Despite having only a few hollow and provocatively-dressed figurines at their disposal, they managed to evoke both laughter and tears from us, while simultaneously revolutionizing our cultural norms and leaving a permanent mark on history.

After expressing that, I feel immense joy for America Ferrera and the rest of the amazing creatives who put their skills into crafting such a revolutionary movie.

Earlier today, America Ferrera expressed her profound displeasure regarding the lack of nominations for individuals Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie in their respective categories.

Barbie received nominations for Best Costume Design, Production Design, and two original songs called "I'm Just Ken" and "What Was I Made For?". Gerwig and her husband, Noah Baumbach, were nominated for the best adapted screenplay, while Robbie was nominated as one of the film's producers for the Best Picture.

This year's Oscar nominations snubbed some surprising contenders in their categories, not just Gerwig and Robbie.

The record did not include some popular yet controversial movies that came out this year. For instance, Saltburn, which is a satire on the class system and has received much attention, was not mentioned. Additionally, Asteroid City, Wes Anderson's detailed sci-fi humor movie, did not make an appearance either.
