At the Oscars 2024, Ryan Gosling and Mark Ronson gave a live performance of their popular Barbie song "I'm Just Ken".

Gosling started the show while sitting in the crowd behind his co-star Margot Robbie. He wore a bright pink outfit, specially tailored by Gucci, along with flashy Gucci shades and matching leather gloves. Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa, and some more of the Kens from the Barbie movie also graced the stage, donning suits with tails and top hats, following the lead of their on-screen leader. The performance was made even more special thanks to a surprise appearance by Slash.

During the performance, the Oscar nominee was joined by his Barbie co-star and a few other stars, including Robbie, America Ferrera, Greta Gerwig, and Emma Stone, who sang along with him.

Gosling and Ronson will be performing at the 2024 Oscars ceremony alongside several other talented artists. These performers include Jon Batiste, Becky G, Billie Eilish, Finneas O’Connell, Scott George, and the Osage Singers, all of whom were previously nominated for the Best Song category.

Batiste played the song “It Never Went Away” from American Symphony on Netflix, while Becky G sang “The Fire Inside,” written by Diane Warren, for the movie Flamin’ Hot. This is Warren's fifteenth time being nominated for this award.

At the upcoming event, Scott George and his band, the Osage Singers, will entertain the audience by singing a traditional Osage-langauage song called "Wahzhazhe (A Song For My People)", which was featured in the Apple movie Killers of the Flower Moon. Another musical duo, Eilish and O'Connell, will perform their Grammy-winning track named "What Was I Made For?" This song was awarded the best original song at the event.

The Greta Gerwig-directed film has received eight nominations for the night, including two for its music track. Other nominations include best picture, America Ferrera for supporting actress, Ryan Gosling for supporting actor, Gerwig and Noah Baumbach for adapted screenplay, costume design, and production design.

Dua Lipa's "Dance the Night" track, featured in the popular movie, was almost nominated for the best original song award at the Oscars, but unfortunately it didn't make the cut. This is due to the Academy's rule of only acknowledging two songs from a single film in the same category.

On Sunday, the 96th edition of the Academy Awards will be shown live on ABC throughout the country. The venue for this star-studded event is the Dolby Theatre located in Ovation Hollywood. There is a twist this year as the event will start earlier than usual, running from 7-10:30pm Eastern and 4-7:30pm Pacific. The host for this year's awards ceremony is Jimmy Kimmel, who returns for his fourth time as the host.

Witness the spectacular 2024 Oscars debut of Hollywood's A-listers on the renowned red carpet.
