At the ongoing 96th Academy Awards held in Los Angeles, Ryan Gosling gave a live performance of the hit song "I'm Just Ken" from the movie Barbie.

Gosling was suggested for an Oscar in the "Best Original Song" category and he performed "I'm Just Ken" with a lot of enthusiasm. He was accompanied by 65 other people who also played the role of "Ken," as well as Guns N' Roses guitarist, Slash, and musician Mark Ronson. This performance was heavily advertised by the organizers of the Oscar show.

Everyone was excited for the upcoming show, which started off with Gosling singing a beautiful song to Margot Robbie from his spot in the audience. After that, he headed up to the hot pink stage and showed off his singing and dancing skills alongside his fellow actors Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, and Ncuti Gatwa, all dressed up as Kens.

After that, the actor who is 43 years old went back to the audience to invite Greta Gerwig, who is the director of Barbie, and his co-stars Robbie and America Ferrera to join him in a song. He also made a stop near Emma Stone, his former La La Land co-star, so that she could sing along with him.

The Dolby Theatre was filled with joy and enthusiasm as Gosling received a standing ovation, including one from renowned filmmaker Steven Spielberg.

Despite winning over the audience's affection, Gosling unfortunately did not secure the award for Best Song at the Oscars. The victory was instead awarded to Billie Eilish and Finneas for their Barbie-themed track, "What Was I Made For?" right after Gosling's live performance.
