Ryan Gosling

At the 96th Academy Awards, Ryan Gosling finally gave us the Oscars moment we've been eagerly anticipating. His performance of 'I'm Just Ken' was absolutely amazing, and it even led to an impromptu group singalong from his Barbie co-stars, which we definitely did not expect.

Gosling, who got a nomination for the Best Supporting Actor at the Academy Awards in 2024, started off his act by being among the audience at the Dolby Theatre. He wore an eye-catching suit by Gucci that was in a bright fuchsia colour and adorned with sparkling gems. He also had on gloves that matched the vivid hue of his suit, a black cowboy hat, and black sunglasses to finish off his look.

Billie Eilish was laughing uncontrollably behind him while he started singing. Then, the camera captured Gosling trying to hold back his own laughter as he walked past Margot Robbie, who was also giggling.

During the show, Gosling appeared on stage with a group of dancers who were inspired by Marilyn Monroe's character in "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes." They performed a segment together before Gosling was lifted up by the group as they all walked on stage. At the same time, large cutout images of Barbie dolls were displayed in the background.

Gosling's companions, known as Kens, came to join him, and among them was ELLE's Ncuti Gatwa. Meanwhile, Gosling's colleagues, Americal Ferrera, Robbie, and the director of the Barbie movie, Greta Gerwig, assembled in the front row of the viewers, where they cheered on the actor and even sang along using the microphone. Later on, Emma Stone, who appeared with Gosling in La La Land, also joined in singing.

Naturally, Twitter was very pleased with the amusing moment and the sheer delight the collaboration provided during the evening.
