How would Ken react to this style?

Ryan Gosling was spotted wearing a thick knitted sweater while filming his latest sci-fi film, Project Hail Mary. The shoot took place at the Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory at the University of Cambridge, located near the city itself.

The 43-year-old Hollywood actor, who received an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of the stylish Ken in the popular Barbie film, paired his cardigan with a blue beanie, slim-framed glasses, and a long yellow coat for the scene.

Gosling portrays Ryland Grace, a science instructor who becomes an astronaut, in the latest film adaptation of Andy Weir's 2021 space novel.

He was seen darting out of the radio telescope facility, pursued by soldiers during the intense moment.

Joining him was Sandra Huller, the actress from Anatomy of a Fall, who portrays Ryland's supervisor, Eva Stratt.

The duo was spotted sprinting through the expansive area filled with large radio telescopes before they were finally caught.

For the first time, sci-fi enthusiasts are getting a sneak peek at the upcoming film after months of shooting at Shepperton Studios in London.

Gosling, known for his roles in sci-fi films like Blade Runner 2049 and First Man, where he portrayed Neil Armstrong, was later spotted engaging in conversation with the production crew while enjoying a cup of coffee.

The screenplay for the film was crafted by Drew Goddard, who previously adapted Andy Weir's first novel, The Martian. The plot revolves around a catastrophic scenario where Earth is on the brink of a catastrophic Ice Age.

Ryland Grace is launched into space on a mission to discover a solution to save humankind, but he has to undertake this journey by himself and is unaware of the specific details of his task.

The movie is under the direction of Christopher Miller and Phil Lord, who are well-known for their work on 22 Jump Street, as well as for both writing and directing The Lego Movie and contributing to the Spider-Verse films as writers and producers. It is scheduled to hit theaters on March 20, 2026.

The Mullard Radio Astronomy Observatory, located in Harlton, features some of the largest and most sophisticated aperture synthesis radio telescopes globally. This includes the One-Mile Telescope, the 5km Ryle Telescope, and the Arcminute Microkelvin Imager.

Established in 1957, it is overseen by the Cavendish Laboratory at the University of Cambridge.
