The popular singer who has been nominated for the prestigious Brit Award, has recently launched her latest single named "Ask and You Shall Receive". She is all set to feature as the main artist at the upcoming Mighty Hoopla festival that will be held in London.

During the Music Box event, Ora delivered a live performance of her song for the first time ever. Additionally, she also performed a simplified version of her popular hit single "Praising You".

In a conversation with The Independent, Ora expressed that her latest single has a playful and mischievous vibe, a signature element present in all her songs. She also mentioned that the song feels easy-going and enjoyable to listen to, almost as if it was effortlessly created.

In the blog section, it was disclosed that the song "Ask and You Shall Receive" was penned jointly by the famous pop star RAYE and the author of the blog. The writer has always supported RAYE and considers her to be like a younger sibling.

"I found her to be just as strong-willed as myself. It was amazing witnessing the progress she made. During my tour, we connected and developed a great relationship," commented Ora.

"We have supported each other, so this is a complete moment."

Ora, who is 33 years old, stated that she intended to stray from the norm with her music video, saying: "I want it to be unconventional." She believes that her life is taking a more intense and somber turn, which will be reflected in her music's upcoming phase.

She suggested that her upcoming songs have been motivated by her husband, who won an Academy Award, and that he was a great source of inspiration for her last album, You & I, which reached the top 10 charts in 2023.

Ora admitted that she drew a lot of inspiration for her latest album from her personal life, particularly her romantic relationship. She noted that many changes occurred in her life around that time, including getting hitched.

She made a jest saying: "I'm feeling somewhat uninterested with that as my source of inspiration and I yearn for my music to progress, have a good time and do what gives me joy."

For the past two to three years, I've adopted a personal motto which is, if it doesn't bring positivity in my life, I won't engage in it. This mindset has given me a sense of freedom and upliftment.

When questioned about her outlook for 2024, Ora shared that she's now in complete charge of her life. This comes after signing a record contract that grants her ownership over her music masters, and has been two years in the making.

"Never hesitate to decline," she advised. "Life is brief, and you must take charge of your goals."

"It took me a while to reach this frame of mind, but I'm currently in a positive place and pleased with it."

On Sunday, June 2nd, the Mighty Hoopla festival will be featuring Rita Ora as the headliner. You can catch her Music Box performances starting on Saturday, June 1st through The Independent’s channels.
