Tottenham Hotspur's Dejan Kulusevski equalized after Hamza Igamane had put Rangers ahead early in the second half, resulting in an exciting 1-1 draw in their Europa League match at Ibrox Stadium on Thursday.
In the first half of the match, the home team appeared to be more dangerous. However, two minutes into the second half, Igamane scored with a stunning first-touch shot, sending the home crowd into a frenzy after receiving a fantastic cross from James Tavernier.
While the Rangers were trying their best to widen their lead, Kulusevski equalized for the visitors by sending a low shot into the far corner of the net, beating goalkeeper Jack Butland in the 75th minute.
"I believe Rangers performed quite impressively. We had some difficulties. The final score was 1-1, and that’s how it goes. We didn’t play at a level that would have allowed us to secure the victory," Kulusevski shared with TNT Sports.
"While putting points on the board is crucial, our main goal is to start winning matches. It's been a few weeks since our last victory. We all need to step up and contribute a bit more than we currently are."
In the 85th minute, Cyriel Dessers came close to scoring the winning goal for Rangers, but Fraser Forster, the goalkeeper for the London team, made an impressive save to deny him.
The draw results in both teams having 11 points, but Rangers hold a slight advantage over Spurs by sitting in eighth place due to a better goal difference.
