The game will be broadcast live on Premier Sports.

Our last encounter with Rangers was in August during the Premier Sports Cup.

The Saints were knocked out of the tournament after a 2-0 defeat at Hampden Park.

We fought hard throughout the match and nearly took the lead in the 41st minute when Adama Sidibeh's shot struck the post. He made a strong connection with a cross from Matt Smith.

The Rangers went ahead in the game at the 61-minute mark when Cyriel Dessers found the net after sneaking past Jack Sanders. Initially, the referee, Matthew MacDermid, disallowed the goal, seemingly calling a foul on Sanders just before Dessers scored. But then VAR intervened, leading to a reversal of the decision, and the goal was allowed to count.

In stoppage time, Sidibeh had a chance to equalize when Andre Raymond delivered a deep cross that found him at the back post. Unfortunately, he missed the target with his attempt and shot wide.

The Rangers quickly moved down to the opposite end of the field, where substitute Ross McCausland found the net, confirming the victory for the home team.
