Hearts 0-0 Rangers: Full-time

No one scored at Tynecastle Stadium, but it was a great game to kick off the Premiership season. Yan Dhanda came close to scoring for Hearts, and Cyriel Dessers did the same for Rangers. The teams played with lots of creativity, especially Hearts, who had some impressive new players. Although Rangers can improve, their coach Philippe Clement will likely view this as a satisfactory result.

In the 95th minute of the game, Oyegoke received a yellow card for a foul on Matondo.

In the 91st minute, Ona had a strong run towards the Rangers' goal but was met with a challenge. The ball bounced over to Forrest, who had a misdirected shot that was blocked. Shankland then headed a cross just wide of the post. Out of the two opportunities, Forrest had the better chance to score.

A 90-minute match with an additional five minutes of play.

89 minutes into the game, Yilmaz dribbles past Oyegoke on the left side and sends a threatening cross into the box. However, the cross is cleared away by a defender at the far post.

88 minutes have passed and now it is Rangers who are pushing for a goal to win the game. It would be unfair for either team to let in a goal at this point.

In the 87th minute, Tavernier delivered an excellent cross that found Matondo near the far post. Matondo then headed the ball back into the six-yard box, narrowly beating Dessers to it. Rowles was able to clear the ball away before any further danger could come from the play.

In the 85th minute, Hearts made some changes by bringing in Daniel Oyegoke, Yutaro Oda, and Malachi Boateng for Jorge Krant, Kenneth Vargas, and the impressive Gerald Taylor.

Hearts have earned another opportunity for a free-kick 40 yards away from the goal. They seem to be in a good position to potentially win the game.

After 83 minutes, Rangers made a substitution as Kieran Dowell replaced Connor Barron, who had a solid first appearance in the midfield position.

In the 81st minute, Spittal's corner kick was cleared by a defender to Forrest, who tried to hit a volley but missed the ball.

80 minutes into the game, Shankland takes a shot from outside the box but Balogun heads it over his own goal. Hearts are having a good run of play at the moment.

78 minutes into the match, Hearts made a substitution. Alan Forrest replaced Barrie McKay on the field.

In the 77th minute, McKay sent a corner kick into the box, where Kent met it with a header at the near post. The ball was headed downward across the goal, but Tavernier's attempt to redirect it towards the goal went just over the crossbar.

Still anyone can win. Both teams may think they have done enough to score.

In the 73rd minute of the game, Spittal took a shot that was blocked by Barron after a chaotic situation in the Rangers' penalty area. If Hearts had scored, it would have been a messy defensive situation. Just as Butland was about to gather a loose ball, Balogun accidentally redirected it towards him, putting the Rangers in a risky position.

At minute 69, Butland made a great save! Shankland managed to avoid Balogun on the left side of the field and took a powerful shot, but Butland saved it with his legs. The ball slipped behind him, but he quickly turned and grabbed it before anyone else could.

After 68 minutes, Tavernier attempted a cross that was too high for Dessers to reach at the far post. It's possible that Dessers may have jumped too soon, but I'm not certain.

65 minutes into the game, Yan Dhanda, who had a great debut, is substituted out for Blair Spittal.

In the 64th minute, Lawrence has become a bigger threat after switching positions on the field during the second half. At the same time, Diomande receives a yellow card for committing a foul on Devlin.

At 61 minutes into the game, Clark made a great save! Tavernier took a free-kick which was headed away but then Lawrence got the ball on the edge of the penalty area. He skillfully cushioned the ball and hit a fantastic volley that Clark had to tip over the goal in a spectacular acrobatic move. It was a really impressive save by Clark.

Yilmaz kicked the ball into the center after the corner, but Diomande missed the header. That was a missed opportunity.

In the 60th minute, Rangers made a double substitution. Leon Balogun and Vaclav Cerny, who is on loan from Wolfsburg, replaced Ben Davies and Scott Wright.

In the 60th minute, Yilmaz seizes an opportunity when Dhanda pulls his shirt and causes him to fall. Rangers are awarded a free kick on the left side of the field. Yilmaz's kick curls towards the goal but is skillfully cleared by Kent at the opposite post.

58 minutes have passed without any goals being scored in this game, which can sometimes be uninteresting. However, in this particular match, it is anything but boring.

In the 56th minute, Vargas was involved in a scuffle with Yilmaz, but the referee did not award a free kick. Vargas quickly got back on his feet and passed the ball to Dhanda, who attempted a shot but was stopped by Davies.

55 minutes into the game, we watched a playback of Dessers' opportunity. It was revealed that his header was slightly deflected by the back of Rowles' head, causing the ball to bounce off the bar and then the post.

After 54 minutes, McKay sent a dangerous cross into the box which was cleared by Butland. Devlin then went down in the box, but the referee did not see a foul. Rangers quickly counterattacked and Rowles was shown a yellow card for a high challenge on Lawrence.

52 minutes into the game, Dessers almost scored! Tavernier delivered two great corners that were cleared by Shankland, but the third one was quickly taken by Rangers. Lawrence then made a fantastic cross to Dessers, who managed to beat Rowles and hit a powerful header that first hit the bar and then the post!

In the 51st minute, Wright passes the ball back and forth with Dessers before sending a cross into the box. The opposition partially clears the ball, but Yilmaz quickly pounces on it and takes a shot that is easily saved, resulting in a corner kick.

In the first 50 minutes of the game, Matondo takes a shot from far away, but misses the goal by a wide margin. Cortes is seen walking around the edge of the field towards the dressing room, indicating that he may have suffered a ligament or muscle injury based on his visible discomfort.

After 48 minutes, a change was made in the Rangers team as Rabbi Matondo came on for an emotional Cortes.

Update: Unfortunately, Cortes has been taken out of the game once more and is unable to keep playing. He appears to be in a lot of distress.

The second half of the game starts with the Rangers. Oscar Cortes, who got injured right before the half-time break, is all good to keep playing.

Hearts And Rangers Tied At Half-time

Cortes fell down while attempting to sprint past Taylor and remained on the ground until the referee called an end to the first half. Hearts played well and Yan Dhanda nearly scored with a shot that hit the crossbar, while Cyriel Dessers had two good chances for Rangers.

44 minutes into the game, there were loud cheers from the opposition fans when Yilmaz lost control of the ball, stopping a potential scoring opportunity for Rangers.
